DU Fifth Cutoff 2019 - The colleges affiliated to the University of Delhi have released the DU 2019 fifth cut off in online mode, on July 19. Individual colleges have released the fifth cut off of DU 2019 separately online in the form of PDF. DU fifth cutoff list of Delhi University has been released for the vacant seats left after the completion of the fourth round at the DU affiliated colleges. To be eligible for admission, the candidates have to secure the minimum DU 2019 fifth cut off marks. Candidates can check the fifth cut off of DU separately for each subject and programme. Shortlisted candidates, as per the DU fifth cutoff have to attend the document verification process along with all the relevant documents. After securing the required percentage in DU 5th cutoff 2019, if candidates fail to report to the notified college, then they are not be given a chance to attend the document verification during the later rounds of counselling.

Factors determining DU Fifth Cut off 2019

While preparing the DU 5th cutoff 2019 the following factors have been considered.

  • Best of Four Subjects – The aggregate of the highest marks in any four subjects of the qualifying Class 12th board examination

  • Programme – The undergraduate programme for which the candidate has applied

  • Number of Seats – The total number of seats offered available in the colleges for the programme opted

  • Number of Applicants – The total number of applications received for the programme

  • Cutoff Trend – The DU cutoff trend for the programmes over the years

Admission Process after DU Fifth cutoff

After the fifth DU 2019 cutoff is released, the Delhi University admission process is held in the following manner.

Step 1: After the colleges release the DU fifth cutoff 2019 candidates must check if they satisfy the cut-off for the programme and college where they would like to take admission. After this candidate must log in to DU admission 2019 portal and select the appropriate Course and College to generate the admission application form.

Step 2: The following documents need to be submitted for the document verification process.

  • Class 10 mark sheet

  • Class 10 Board Examination Certificate

  • Class 12 mark sheet

  • Class 12 provisional certificate/ original certificate

  • Conduct certificate

  • Category (SC/ST/PwD/CW/KM) certificate

  • OBC (Non- creamy layer) certificate

  • Transfer certificates

  • Migration certificate from

  • Two passport size self-attested photographs

Step 3: After completing the document verification process candidates must log in again to the admission portal and pay the Admission Fee online using the link available. Once the fee is paid successfully the admission process to that particular college will be complete.

Step 4: In case the candidate wants to cancel the admission the following steps must be followed

  • Cancel the admission online, and pay the requisite Admission Cancellation/withdrawal fee.

  • Print of receipt of the cancellation fee and submit the same to the college where they were admitted and withdraw his/her original certificates.

  • Follow Steps 1 to 3, for taking admission in another course-college to complete the admission. In this subsequent admission, the candidate will pay only the balance fee of the new college in which he is taking admission. If any extra amount is paid by the candidate it will be refunded after the last date of admission to the bank account of the candidate.

Hello dear aspirant.

You have not clearly mentioned whether for UG or PG and which course you are interested in.

As of now admission in DU is on merit list basis first you should know past years cutoff and then prepare hard and score good marks in board exams so that you can easily get a seat in DU .

If I want to get admission in BSC honours in mathematics in Delhi University on the basis of percentage scored in class 12th , then what all subjects can I register for the calculation of percentage to be written in Merit list ? Can I register with Mathematics, computer and chemistry ?

Hello Anurag, Yes these three subjects are fine but you need to add one more subject in order to complete the best of four percentage. The rule is that you need one subject related to the course you are applying for, one language course(most of the students have english) and other two courses you can select as any two subjects with maximum marks.

Hello Anurag, No, you can't get admission in BTech course only on the basis of 12th class marks. Giving the entrance test is compulsory. Giving entrance test is compulsory for the following courses:
