DU Fifth Cutoff 2019 - The University of Delhi will release the DU 2019 fifth cutoff by the third week of July 2019. The fifth cutoff of DU 2019 will be released online individually by the different colleges of the university of Delhi. The Delhi University fifth cutoff 2019 is determined based on a few factors which are mentioned here. The cutoff marks for each round of document verification will be derived as per the best of four marks entered by candidates for each programme. Candidates who qualify the DU 2019 fifth cutoff must attend the document verification process along with all the relevant documents. Candidates who fail to report will not be given a chance to attend the document verification during the later rounds of counselling. Candidates must note that each cutoff list of Delhi University is released based on the availability of vacant seats after each document verification round is complete. Factors determining DU fifth Cutoff 2019

While preparing the DU 5th cutoff 2019 the following factors will be considered.

  • Best of Four Subjects – The aggregate of the highest marks in any four subjects of the qualifying Class 12th board examination

  • Programme – The undergraduate programme for which the candidate has applied for

  • Number of Seats – The total number of seats offered available in the colleges for the programme opted

  • Number of Applicants – The total number of applications received for the programme

  • Cutoff Trend – The DU cutoff trend for the programmes over the years

Admission Process after DU fifth cutoff is released

After the fifth DU 2019 cutoff is released the admission process will be held in the following manner. 

Step 1: After the colleges release the DU fifth cutoff 2019 candidates must check if they satisfy the cut-off for the programme and college where they would like to take admission. After this candidates must login to the admission portal and select the appropriate Course and College to generate the Admission application form.

Step 2: The following documents need to be submitted for the document verification process. 

  • Class 10 mark sheet 

  • Class 10 Board Examination Certificate

  • Class 12 mark sheet

  • Class 12 provisional certificate/ original certificate

  • Conduct certificate

  • Category (SC/ST/PwD/CW/KM) certificate

  • OBC (non- creamy layer) certificate 

  • Transfer certificates 

  • Migration certificate from

  • Two passport size self-attested photographs

Step 3: After completing the document verification process candidates must login again to the admission portal and pay the Admission Fee online using the link available. Once the fee is paid successfully the admission process to that particular college will be complete.

Step 4: In case the candidate wants to cancel the admission the following steps must be followed

  • Cancel the admission online, and pay the requisite Admission Cancellation/withdrawal fee.

  • Print of receipt of the cancellation fee and submit the same to the college where they were admitted and withdraw his/her original certificates.

  • Follow Steps 1 to 3, for taking admission in another course-college to complete the admission. In this subsequent admission, the candidate will pay only the balance fee of the new college in which he is taking admission. If any extra amount is paid by the candidate it will be refunded after the last date of admission to the bank account of the candidate.
