DU Fifth Cutoff DU Fifth Cutoff 2018 - The University of Delhi has started announcing the fifth cutoff of DU 2018 from July 11, 2018. The DU fifth cutoff 2018 is much respite for candidates who were unable to meet the minimum marks in the previous cutoff lists. The DU 2018 5th cutoff is published on online and offline modes. The fifth cutoff of DU 2018 is the minimum marks to be scored in the qualifying examination, that will determine a candidate’s eligibility for DU admission 2018. Candidates must note that the DU 2018 fifth cutoff will differ for each college, programme/course, and category of candidates (General, SC, ST, OBC, etc.). The fifth cutoff of DU 2018 will be calculated as per the ‘Best of Four’ formula. Candidates must check the UG Admission portal of Delhi University to be updated about DU cutoff 2018. What is the Admission Process of DU Fifth Cutoff 2018?

The candidates who meet the minimum marks as per the Fifth cutoff of DU 2018, in any programme offered by a college under the University of Delhi, can visit the college campus with the required documents. After the verification of eligibility and academic documents, the candidates must submit the admission fees for the particular DU programme and complete the admission process within the scheduled two-day time.


DU 2018 Fifth Cutoff: Factors affecting DU 5th Cutoff

The University of Delhi along with its affiliated colleges determines the Cutoff for DU admission. Candidates must keep in mind the following factors that are considered while producing the DU Fifth Cutoff 2018:

  • Best of Four Subjects – the average of the highest marks in any four subjects of Class 12th board examination

  • Programme – The undergraduate programme for which the candidate has applied for

  • Number of Seats – The total number of seats offered by/ available in the programme which the candidate has applied for
