The NISER Bhubaneshwar has released the official notification which contains all the information related to the NEST 2026 exam. The notification will include the NEST exam date 2026, application form dates, admit card dates, eligibility criteria and more.

NEST Registration Dates 2026

NISER Bhubaneshwar has started the NEST registration 2026 on January 5, 2026. Before filling out the NEST application form 2026, candidates have to register themselves for the entrance examination. Then, they are also required to pay the NEST 2026 application fee via credit card, debit card, or net banking.

There will be two rounds of NEST counselling for the qualified candidates. If seats remain vacant, conducting bodies will release another merit list. NISER and UMDAE-CEBS individually conduct their counselling process.

Yes , the NEST exam is generally considered tougher than NEET as it requires more focus towards conceptual understanding and thinking , while NEET generally tests NCERT based knowledge where as in NEST it requires you to have deeper clarity in Physics , Chemistry , Biology and Mathematics.
