JAM Eligibility Criteria 2019 – Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur has released the JAM 2019 eligibility criteria on August 12, 2018. The eligibility criteria of JAM 2019 will give candidates the details of the minimum marks required by candidates to qualify to apply for the exam. JAM is an annual entrance exam conducted by IIT as part of the admission to the various Postgraduate programmes offered by the participating IIT’s. JAM eligibility criteria 2019 states the minimum marks and the aggregate percents required by candidates belonging to different reservation categories. The eligibility criteria of JAM 2019 will be different for the different courses offered by the participating IIT’s. If a candidate is not found eligible as per the JAM 2019 eligibility criteria their admissions would be cancelled. Candidates must make sure that their check the JAM eligibility criteria 2019 carefully before filling the application form. The eligibility criteria of JAM 2019 mentioned below will give candidates a fair idea about the minimum marks required in the qualifying examination along with the subjects in the bachelor’s degree. IIT Kharagpur will conduct JAM 2019 in February 10, 2019.

JAM Eligibility Criteria 2019 - Common Eligibility
For General/OBC (NCL) category the minimum marks will be 55 percent marks or 5.5 out of 10 aggregate in languages and subsidiaries of all the years combined.
Candidates belonging to the SC/ST and PwD categories must have secured 50 percent or 5.0 out of 10 aggregate.
JAM 2019 Eligibility Criteria - Instructions
Candidates who are both Indian and Foreign nationals are eligible to apply for JAM 2019.
Candidates who apply for the different subjects must make sure to check the eligibility criteria for each subject.
If the candidates qualifying marks are in the grade/GPA system then the equivalent percentage of marks will be decided by the admitting institute.
Applicants being admitted through JAM must make sure to have a bachelor’s degree.
Candidates who are pursuing the qualifying examination have to submit the proof of passing the qualifying examination to the admitted institute by 30th September 2019.
