The university has opened the UPCATET 2024 application form correction window on May 9, with a deadline of May 18. The university released the UPCATET 2024 registration form on March 17. Candidates could fill and submit the UPCATET application form till the last date. The UPCATET 2024 application fee can be paid till May 18 in online mode.

How to fill the UPCATET 2024 Application Form?

Find the link for “New Registration” on the portal of UPCATET 2024.
Once you fill in the complete information, click on the submit button.
You get OTP on your mobile number, which you entered while filling the UPCATET application form 2024. Enter the OTP received in the application form and click on the “Submit” button.
After the OTP validation for UPCATET exam 2024, candidates can go through the process of Login.
Now proceed with the login process and enter the registration number and password to apply online.

UPCATET Eligibility Criteria 2024
1). Marks, domicile status, and age limit are the three primary eligibility criteria to apply for the UPCATET 2024 exam.
2). Candidates who will appear in UPCATET undergraduate program must score at least 60% marks in the 12th Class.
3). Students applying for postgraduate degree courses are required to score 60% marks in the respective fields in graduation.
4). Only Uttar Pradesh domicile students can apply for the UPCATET entrance test.
5). Minimum and maximum age limits for UPCATET 2024 UG courses are 16 and 22 years. The maximum age limit for the reserved category is 27 years.

Things to know about UPCATET
UPCATET is a state-level entrance test of Uttar Pradesh for admission in PG and UG agriculture courses in various disciplines.
The frequency of the UPCATET exam is once a year for the Uttar Pradesh domicile students. The UPCATET exam is conducted offline, and 4 major universities are participating in this examination.
Last year Banda University of Agriculture and Technology was the host of the UPCATET exam.
Banda University of Agriculture and Technology, Banda is a major state university in Uttar Pradesh known as the “First Agriculture University of Bundelkhand Region.
”There are two language options in the UPCATET exam: Hindi and English.
UPCATET counselling is the second stage of UPCATET course admission.
The total number of questions in the exam is 200, and the weightage of marks is 600 marks
UPCATET exam duration is 3 Hours.
This exam has negative markings, and for each incorrect answer, one mark will be deducted, and three marks will be awarded for each correct answer.

With reference to your above mentioned query, I would like to tell you that in order to give UPCATET Exam, the candidate must be the resident of Uttar Pradesh and not belong to any other state.
All interested candidates must be a citizen of India as well as the Resident of Uttar Pradesh (UP) . The term 'Resident of Uttar Pradesh' means a candidate, must have passed the qualifying examination from UP and have been living in the state for the past 5 years, or any of the following criteria.
So, if you meet the above eligibility criteria then you can apply for phd through UPCATET exam.
