UPCATET Eligibility Criteria 2025
The three main requirements for applying to the UPCATET 2025 exam are age, residence status, and marks.
Candidates must receive at least 60% in their 12th grade in order to be considered for the UPCATET undergraduate program.
In order to be eligible for postgraduate degree programs, students must graduate with 60% of the possible points in their areas.
The UPCATET entrance exam is only open to students who are residents of Uttar Pradesh.
For UPCATET 2025 UG courses, the minimum and maximum ages are 16 and 22, respectively. The reserved group has a maximum age limit of 27 years.
The UPCATET 2025 PG courses have a minimum age requirement of 17 and a maximum age requirement of 25.
The reserved category's upper age limit is 30 years.

Things to know about UPCATET
Uttar Pradesh's state-level entrance exam for admission to postgraduate and undergraduate agriculture programs in a variety of fields is called UPCATET.
For students who are residents of Uttar Pradesh, the UPCATET exam is administered once a year.
The UPCATET exam is administered offline, and four prestigious universities take part.
Known as the "First Agriculture University of Bundelkhand Region," Banda University of Agriculture and Technology, Banda, is a prominent state university in Uttar Pradesh.

With reference to your above mentioned query, I would like to tell you that in order to give UPCATET Exam, the candidate must be the resident of Uttar Pradesh and not belong to any other state.
All interested candidates must be a citizen of India as well as the Resident of Uttar Pradesh (UP) . The term 'Resident of Uttar Pradesh' means a candidate, must have passed the qualifying examination from UP and have been living in the state for the past 5 years, or any of the following criteria.
So, if you meet the above eligibility criteria then you can apply for phd through UPCATET exam.
