KIITEE Result 2020 – Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) is to release the KIITEE 2020 result on April 26, 2020, in online mode. Appeared candidates can know their KIITEE result 2020 by visiting the official website kiit.ac.in and entering their application number and selecting the date of birth in the result log in window. Alongside the result of KIITEE 2020, the exam conducting body also releases the rank card or scorecard. Candidates can check their obtained marks and ranks in KIITEE 2020. It must be noted that the rank card will be available online and will also be sent to candidates on their registered email ID. The institute fixes the qualifying cut off marks at the time of announcing the KIITEE result 2020. Only those candidates will be considered qualified, on KIITEE result announcement, in the exam, who are able to secure marks equal to or more than the qualifying cut off marks. KIIT will release a merit cum rank list on the same day of result declaration in the form of ranks of the candidates with the counselling schedule.

Candidates are allotted marks in KIITEE exam based on the marking scheme. Their scores are calculated based on the number of correct and incorrect answer options marked in the exam. As per the marking scheme of KIITEE 2020, each correct answer will be given 4 marks and for each wrong answer, 1 mark will be deducted. As per the different programmes, ranks and marks are allotted to them. Based on their performance in KIITEE, marks and ranks are allotted to them.
In such a case, the tie-breaking formula is used to resolve the tie. However, it’s done separately for different programmes. Check KIITEE inter-se merit guidelines below:
Marks obtained in NATA
Candidates will be placed in the merit list based on the marks obtained in Mathematics, then in Physics and then by age (preference to older candidates).
First marks obtained in Mathematics will be taken into account, then marks in Basic Electrical Engineering and then age of candidate (older candidate will be given preference).
B.Sc. Nursing/ Biotechnology- Dual Degree (B.Tech/M.Tech)(5 years)/ M.Sc. (Applied Microbiology/Biotechnology)
Marks obtained in Biology will be considered first, then marks obtained in Chemistry and at last older candidates will be given preference.
BBA / BCA/Bachelor in Design (Fashion/Textile)/Bachelor in Film & Television Production /BA.LLB/BBA LLB/B.Sc.LLB/ Master of Mass Communication(Integrated)
First, marks obtained in Mathematical Ability will be taken into account, then marks obtained in Analytical Ability, marks obtained in English and at last age of candidates (older candidate will be given preference).
Biotechnology-Dual Degree (B.Tech/M.Tech) (5Years)
Marks obtained in Biology will be given better marks, then candidate who has performed better in Chemistry and then older age candidate will be preferred.
Tie-breaking will be done based on the marks obtained in Biology, then Chemistry, then Mathematics and then by age. (Preference to older candidates)

Based on age of candidate - older candidate will be given preference
First, marks in Computer Awareness will be considered, then marks in Mathematics
After releasing the result of KIITEE, candidates will be allotted a rank. They can know their ranks and download the KIITEE rank card online from the official website along with the result.
After the result declaration, candidates can get access to their KIITEE rank cards. To do so, they have to go to the log in window and enter their application number and date of birth to download their KIITEE 2020 rank card. The rank card will be available online along with the result, on the same day. The rank card of KIITEE will have the following details on it:
Name and details of the candidate
Rank obtained in the entrance exam
After qualifying the examination, candidates have to participate in the KIITEE counselling 2020 as per the days and time allotted to them according to their ranks. The counselling of KIITEE 2020 will be held offline from May 12 onwards. The KIITEE rank list cum counselling schedule will have date and time of the counselling, category and rank range of the candidates. Candidates of a particular category have to attend the counselling of KIITEE 2020 according to the range of ranks mentioned in the schedule for their respective category.
To participate in KIITEE Counselling, candidates have to carry the following documents:

12th admit card (Only for appearing candidates)
Two color, passport photographs
A DD of Rs. 75,000 (includes counselling fee – Rs. 10,000) in favour of KIIT, payable at Bhubaneswar.
There are two types of cut off for KIITEE. The institute determines a minimum percentage of marks for each category at the time of result announcement. However, this cut off of KIITEE is not officially released publicly. Candidates can only check the cut off of KIITEE through their individual log in. The second KIITEE cutoff is the ranks allotted to candidates at the time of result declaration. As the ranks of the candidates in the exam is the parameter based on which they are called for participating in the counselling process. Check the expected KIITEE cut off in the form of closing ranks 2020 from the table below along with the cut off of the previous years as per the different UG and PG programmes.

In case of a tie, there are various parameters (different for different courses) which will taken into account by the exam authority and candidates will be given preference as per those.
KIITEE merit list actually is released in the form of counselling schedule. Ranks allotted to the candidates will be given on the merit list or the rank list (which is actually counselling schedule). This rank list will be available online on the same day of result declaration. Qualified candidates’ can see their ranks, category, counselling date, time and venue on the merit list.

I would like to inform you that KIITEE is a very easy exam to crack provided you have studied rigorously for at least two months devoting at least 12 hours per day.
KIITEE is all about basics of PCM . It also depends on what branch do you want to take . If you want to take CIVIL .. then rank upto 10000 also can get your desired branch but if you want to take mechanical or CS, then u have to be within 5000
