The University of Delhi conducts DU UG admission through CUET scores. With the declaration of CUET UG 2024 result on July 28, students may be curious to know what are the passing marks for DU. To understand this, we need to look into various factors like how DU UG 2024 admission is conducted. Students are required to register for the DU CSAS portal (Common Seat Allocation System) and register by entering their scores of CUET UG 2024. Then, DU colleges release their own cutoff for different courses on their respective websites, based on which the DU UG admission 2024 is conducted.
The CUET qualifying marks for DU varies depending on different colleges and the courses students are applying for. Although a score between 480 to 560 is considered to be a good score in CUET, a score above 700 is favourable to take admission in best colleges under DU due to its high demand. Students are advised to go through the entire article to learn more about the DU CUET passing marks, cutoff at different colleges and more.
Delhi University determines the DU cut-off based on CUET 2024 marks. This is a minimum score that a student has to get in order to enter the UG programmes for DU colleges. The students need to qualify for this criteria to be eligible for admission through the DU CSAS portal 2024. Students who score less than the cut-off are considered not eligible for DU UG admission.
The CUET 2024 cutoff for DU varies for different courses and colleges. Here are some of the factors that determine the DU CUET 2024 cutoff:
CUET marks: Needless to say, colleges under DU are considered to be some of the best colleges in India. A great number of students apply for admission at these colleges every year, naturally making it a tough competition. As a deciding factor, the CUET scores play a big role here. The higher the score, the better the chance of securing admission at these colleges.
Number of available seats: All these colleges have limited seats. The more students apply for these seats, the higher the cutoff gets.
Reservation criteria: Most colleges under DU allot seats for reserved category students, which influences the cutoff for the remaining seats.
Past cutoff trends: When it comes to DU UG cutoff, most colleges follow their cutoff from previous years. With the increase in demand for seats at these colleges, current year cutoff is typically determined based on the previous ones.
Total number of applicants: The cutoff greatly relies on the number of applicants. As the seats are limited, the more candidates apply, the higher the cutoff requirement gets and vice-versa.
Knowing the expected cut-off marks for different courses and colleges, students can understand their chances for DU admissions 2024. The DU 2024 cutoff would give them an idea regarding the scores they should score in their 12th final exams to seek admission to a particular college under DU. For convenience, here are the expected cut-off marks for top DU colleges for aspiring students.

Candidates who have appeared for the CUET UG 2024 can understand their scores in two ways: CUET marks and percentile.
CUET Marks: This shows how well a candidate did in the test as a percentage of the total possible marks. For example, if the test is out of 100 marks and a candidate scores 80, their CUET marks would be 80%.

Hello ayush hope you are doing well
BSc is a future oriented course which emphasis on research as well as teaching oriented degree It gives you a depth on that subject But it depends on your future what you want to do. Btech is industry based course and Bsc is a research based academic degree and NEET is a entry level of professional course If you have enough courage to take a drop and crack any entrance of Engineering or neet for good colleges then you can drop a year. But firstly make sure that your drop year should be worth enough in future.it totally depends on you how you are going to spend your coming year.
If you are not sure about any of these courses and want to take admission this year go for bachelor in science in private universities as they still open their admission process.
