CUET PG Exam Pattern 2025: Along with the official notice, the National Testing Agency (NTA) will publish the CUET PG 2025 exam pattern on its official website. To succeed in the CUET PG, candidates need to be aware of the exam pattern. The CUET PG 2025 exam structure states that each question paper will contain a total of 70 multiple-choice questions. The pattern of the CUET 2025 PG entrance tsst will assist candidates in understanding the marking system.
The CUET PG question paper is divided into two sections: Part A and Part B of the CUET PG previous year question paper had requirements that are both general and domain-specific. Candidates who want to take the CUET 2025 PG exam need to familiarise themselves with the examination structure and syllabus. The CUET PG exam pattern 2025 contains 100 questions which are divided into two sections - A and B. Section A comprises of 25 questions and section B consists of 75 questions. The CUET PG exam lasts for one hour and forty-five minutes.
The CUET PG 2025 entrance examination will be conducted in computer-based mode. There are two CUET papers, Section A and Section B, each with 75 questions overall. As per the information brochure released last year for CUET PG 2025 states that the CUET PG paper will only include questions on domain knowledge. The candidate can now select a general paper as a subject. Every question is worth four marks, and each erroneous response results in one mark being subtracted from the total due to CUET PG negative marking. The CUET PG total marks 2025 will have 300 marks. The CUET PG 2025 marking scheme is same as compared to the previous year. The conducting body has removed Section A from the CUET PG exam, which led to the reduction of the total number of questions that will be asked in the examination. Due to this, the total or maximum marks of the CUET PG question paper has been reduced. Below mentioned is the CUET PG marking scheme for the academic session 2025-2026.

The total time allotted for students to appear for the CUET PG exam was 120 minutes. After revising the CUET PG exam pattern, the CUET PG exam time duration is 105 minutes. In addition to language, Acharya, and M.Tech Higher Sciences programs, NTA has announced that the CUET PG question paper would be available in Hindi and English. Candidates need to know that CUET PG exams in common courses, humanities, and sciences will only be administered in two languages. The language examinations will be administered in the languages in which they are intended. However, only English shall be used for linguistic papers. Attendance in Sanskrit is mandatory for Acharya subjects like Hindu Studies, Indian Knowledge System, and Baudha Darshan. The requirement that papers for M.Tech or Higher Sciences be written in English is noteworthy.
Candidates can apply for only one course in a slot.
Each question paper will have 75 questions.
Candidates have to choose CUET PG test paper subject selection of one language - English or Hindi for the General Paper.
For PGQP08, PGQP60 and PGQP74 and PGQP78 only one course can be selected from the drop down list in the registration form.
The entire question paper for PGQP05 (English) and PGQP06 (Hindi) would be in only one language.
The question paper will be in Sanskrit only for Acharya, Shiksha Shastri, and Shiksha Acharya Courses.
Further, in case of Shiksha Shastri and Shiksha Acharya, the entire 75 questions of the question paper would be in Sanskrit only.
In case of PGQP60 and PGQP62, only the concerned language would be used for the domain knowledge questions, i.e., 75 questions.

If you have completed the application processthen you can download the admit card from the CUET admit card download direct link provided in the official website (exams.nta.ac.in). You can download the admit card and take a print out of it. The NTA will release the CUET UG Admit card 2024 in online mode in the second week of May 2024.
