Hello, With a rank of 16141 in the Tamil Nadu Law Admission process, getting a seat in top government law colleges might be difficult, since their cutoffs usually close at much lower ranks. Government law colleges in Chennai, Madurai, Trichy, and Coimbatore generally fill up quickly with candidates below 8000–10000 ranks. However, this does not mean you are out of options. You should carefully track each counseling round, as rank cutoffs fluctuate depending on the number of applicants, reservation category, and seat availability. If your goal is simply to secure admission to pursue law, private colleges remain a strong option. Also, consider keeping backup choices ready in case government college admission does not work out.
