UPCATET Counselling Dates 2024 - For Undergraduate

Following are the UPCATET counselling dates 2024 for UG courses. Check out and do not miss the important details. The following table shows the UPCATET Counselling Date 2024.

A. The following table shows the UPCATET counselling dates for B.V.Sc. & A.H. Courses.

(Note: Registration and fee depositing for UPCATET online counselling 2024 for B.V.Sc. & A.H. Courses will be done only till 5 PM on the allotted dates.)

B. The following table shows the UPCATET counselling dates for the remaining courses apart from B.V.Sc. & A.H. Courses.

Eligibility Criteria for UPCATET Counselling 2024

Candidates must have the following to be eligible for the counselling process based on the marks obtained in the UPCATET.

• Must have passed the qualifying examination i.e., 10+2 and graduate degree. This depends on the programme the candidate has applied for.

• Must have appeared in the UPCATET 2024 and have secured a valid score.

• Must have fulfilled the minimum eligibility criteria set by the respective university or college.

How to Register for UPCATET Counselling 2024

Here are the steps on how a candidate can apply for UPCATET 2024 counselling.

• Step-1: Counselling Registration. Students must register online if they want to attend the counselling.

• Step-2: Choice Filling (Online). Candidates can fill in their choice of colleges.

• Step-3: Seat Allotment. Based on the merit list and student choices, the government releases the seat allotment.

• Step-4: Fee deposit. After the seat allotment, candidates must deposit the fees.

• Step-5: Students report to the allotted institute. Candidates must report to the college or university they have been allotted in the counselling.

Candidates must have the following important documents ready for attending the UPCATET 2024 counselling process.

• Notice of Seat Allotment

• UPCATET 2024 Admit card/copy.

• UPCATET 2024 Scorecard card/copy.

• Graduate Degree mark sheet (For Students applying for PG Programmes).

• Class 12 marksheet and Bonafide certificate.

• Class 10 marksheet and Bonafide certificate.

• Permanent Address Proof.

• Category certificate (if applicable).

• Aadhaar card/copy.

• Transfer Certificate.

UPCATET Counselling 2024 Procedure/Instructions Online

Here is the procedure for UPCATET 2024 counselling. Check out the sections below to understand the procedure in detail.

UPCATET Counselling Registration

• Visit the official website at www.upcatet.org and carefully read the description booklet.

• To register for counselling, select the programme, group of papers, and date of birth, and enter the mobile number.

• Enter the OTP sent to your registered mobile no. and verify. Create a password and keep it safe.

• Once the candidate registers, he/she can log in using the programme, group of paper, and password.

• The candidate has to deposit the UPCATET counselling fees online i.e., INR 500/-.

• Once you deposit the counselling fee, the candidate will receive a transaction reference number.

(Note: Keep the OTP and password safe and confidential. Do not share it with anyone else. It will be the entire responsibility of the concerned candidate. Before registering, candidates should check and assess the age limit. Registration fees will not be refunded under any circumstances.)

UPCATET Choice Filling and Locking

• In the second step, candidates must select the list of colleges according to their preferences, fill in the details accordingly and lock the choices.

• Candidates can take printouts of the choices they have locked.

(Note: Candidates can enter as many choices as possible overall to increase the chances of seat allotment. Once the candidate enters and locks the choices, there is no choice for alterations. Hence, the candidates must be careful.)

UPCATET Seat Allotment 2024

• The university published the UPCATET 2024 first seat allotment on July 2, for B.V.Sc. & A.H. programmes.

• UPCATET conducting body allots seats to the candidates based on the merit list and as per the choices they have given in the choice-filling step.

• Selected candidates will get a seat allotment letter from the college or university.

(Note: The UPCATET seat allotment 2024 result is declared online. Candidates are advised to report at the allotted college within the mentioned time frame.)

UPCATET Counselling Documents Upload

• Once the seat allotment is released, candidates are required to upload the important documents mentioned above.

• This is important to gain admission to the allotted college.

Security Fees Deposit

• Candidates must deposit a security fee of Rs. 5000/- and take a printout of it along with the merit list.

Reporting to the Allotted College/University

• Lastly, candidates must report to the college/university allotted to them along with all the required documents like fee receipts, educational docs, and allotment letters.

(Note: Candidates who fail to report at the allotted college within the specified timeframe, will lose their preferred seat claim.)
