● A new screen will appear with the registration form
● Fill out the NEST 2026 application form with all the necessary details.

1. Applicant's name as mentioned in class X Marksheet/Certificate.
2. Select the year, month, and date of birth.
3. Mandatorily select the passing year of 10th Class.
4. Provide a working and accessible mobile number.
5. The login link, login credentials and all-important communication related to NEST 2026 will be done to this email id. (X/10th Roll No./Registration No- Roll No/ Registration No from your class X report card/mark sheet/certificate. Enter only numbers and letters (if any) .
● As soon as you fill the form, tap the 'Nest exam 2026 registration' button.
● Select the 'RE-VERIFY' button to check and make sure you verify the data accurately.
● Click on the "Submit" button. Your registration to the portal will complete and you will receive a SMS on mobile no. given with user id and password. An e-mail to the e-mail address provided will be sent with the link for login page and login credential.
Step 2: NEST Login
● A login window will appear.
● Enter the login credentials you received via email or SMS.

Step 3: Personal Details and Educational Qualification
● Student's personal information, such as roll number, name, registration number, mobile number, date of birth and email address, will be pre-filled in the application form which can not get edited.
● Present and permanent address, education qualification, document upload then it will take you to payment section for successful submission of your application

Step 4 : Exam City preference
● Select the state and city from the provided drop-down list for each preference field (Preference 1 to 5).
● The conducting authority tries to allocate the NEST 2026 test centre within your first three preferred cities/towns. However, the address of the test centre printed in the hall ticket has to be treated as the final test centre allotted.
Step 5: Upload Photograph and signature
● Students need to upload a scanned image of your signature and a recent passport size photo by choosing “Click here to upload”. Please make sure that photo have white background and not be older than six months from the date of application
● Then, in the required specifications, upload a scanned copy of your photograph and signature.

Step 6: Application Fee Payment
●Male and transgender candidates in the General/OBC/General (EWS) category are required to pay an NISER application fee of 1200 INR. The application cost for SC/ST/PWD, Supernumerary J&K, NISER registration 2026.
●An online payment gateway is used to collect the NEST exam fee. All major banks' debit and credit cards, as well as online banking services, are accepted methods of payment.

Click "HELP DESK" and then "click here to raise a query ticket" to ask any questions you may have about the NEST 2026 application.
Step 8: RAISE QUERY
If candidates run into any technical difficulties during NEST registration 2026, they are advised to select 'Click here to Raise Query Ticket' above. This will open the page, where they can select the category of their issue and enter the problem statement in the provided text box. If they have any photos or videos to upload, they can upload them as well. After submitting their query, a helpdesk agent will respond with a solution, and all updates pertaining to their query will be sent to their registered email address.
Step 9: Declaration
Read the declaration and click in the white box , enter the captcha and then submit.
