JMI Eligibility Criteria 2019

JMI Eligibility Criteria 2019: Jamia Millia Islamia has determined the eligibility criteria of 2019 as the admission process has been started from March 14, 2019. The university has informed the major requirements that the students have to meet for being eligible. The candidates who meet the JMI Eligibility Criteria 2019 will be allowed to sit in the JMI entrance exam. The JMI 2019 eligibility Criteria includes the age limit, academic qualification and nationality which the candidates need to meet to get qualified to sit in the JMIEE. The candidates who do not meet the JMI Eligibility Criteria 2019 will be declared as ineligible for the courses/programmes that they will apply for. The students will be asked to submit required documents as proofs of them being eligible for JMI entrance exam. If any discrepancy is found, the candidate will be disqualified/banned to apply for the admission in multiple courses/programmes. 

Jamia Millia Islamia will keep the mode of the entrance test offline having Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). The entrance tests will be held between June 12 - June 29, 2019.

Question: I have a gap year between Class 11 and 12. Will I be eligible for NEET 2019?

Answer: Yes, the candidates with a year gap between the class 11 and 12 are eligible to sit for the JMI entrance exam 2019. 


Question: I scored less than 60% in my class 12th. Am I eligible for any UG programme?

Answer: Jamia Milia university asks for a minimum of 60% in the standard 12th for the candidate to meet the eligibility criteria of 2019. Marks less than 60% would be considered as eligible.


Question: I used to live out of India for five years. I have done my schooling after 10th in India. Am I eligible for applying in the examination?

Answer: The candidates will be able to take the examination as long as they have all the proofs of their identity to satisfy the JMI Eligibility Criteria 2019.

Millia Islamia Entrance Exam 2020 Dates

For the new 2020/21 scholarly year, the JMI 2020 selection test application structures will be discharged in the main seven day stretch of February. The last date of presenting the application structure is in the second seven day stretch of March, 2020 and the JMI 2020 concede cards will be discharged in the second seven day stretch of April, 2020. The JMI selection test will be directed in May, 2020 and the JMI test results will be declared in the long stretch of June, 2020.

Is there any negative marking in entrance exam.

Hi,

The question paper In Jamia milia Islamia entrance examination consist of MCQs with a maximum marks of 100 in total in most cases. There is definitely a negative marking of 0.25 alloted for every wrong answer given by the candidate. However, for every unanswered question, there is no marks alloted.

If you want to do diploma in Jamia it's good but for admission there you must have your migration certificate,which you have already suggested so it is better to collect it from college as fast as possible.
