TISSNET Exam Pattern 2021 - Tata Institute of Social Sciences has released the TISSNET 2021 exam pattern on December 3, 2020, along with the official admission notification on the official website - admission.tiss.edu. The TISSNET exam pattern 2021 mentions the structure and nature of questions to be asked in the entrance examination. TISSNET 2021 exam pattern helps the students in preparing smartly as it carries crucial information of the entrance exam such as mode, duration, marking scheme, type of questions, sections included in the exam, total marks and a total number of questions to be asked in the entrance test. With the help of the TISSNET exam pattern 2021, candidates are able to prepare smartly as they get to know the crux of the TISSNET entrance examination structure. TISSNET Exam Pattern 2021
Candidates who want to appear in the entrance exam should go through the TISSNET exam pattern 2021. By referring to the TISSNET exam pattern, candidates will get a better idea of how to manage the time properly on all sections of the entrance examination.

TISSNET Marking Scheme 2021
Aspiring candidates must be aware of the marking scheme of TISSNET 2021 to attempt questions accordingly during the examination. Before the commencement of the online entrance examination, the candidates will be informed about the TISSNET 2021 marking scheme on their desktop. To become familiar with the marking scheme of TISSNET 2021, candidates can also attempt mock tests. This way, they can learn about the marking scheme before the exam.
Each correct answer will be awarded one mark.
There will be no negative marking for incorrect answers.
There will be zero marks awarded for any non attempted questions.
The general knowledge section will consist of 40 questions each carrying one mark.
Candidates will be asked 30 questions from logical reasoning and analytical ability each carrying one mark.
The English proficiency section will be divided into two parts, verbal analysis and reading comprehension. Both of the parts carry a total of 30 questions each carrying one mark.
Upon the completion of the examination, candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of a merit list which will be based on the result of the online test given by candidates. Those candidates who are shortlisted will receive call letters for the second round which includes programme aptitude test (PAT) and interview tests and personal interviews. The candidates will have to pass the programme aptitude test (Written test/ Group discussion) before getting the chance for a personal interview.
TISSNET Exam Pattern for PAT 2021
Once the entrance examination is over and the merit list has been released, the Tata Institute of Social Science will be conducting programme aptitude test and personal interviews for the selected candidates. Candidates need to refer to the pattern for TISSNET PIT for better clarity.

Type of Questions - Essay Writing, Case Studies
Exam Duration - 45 minutes (If candidates have selected one programme)
Exam Duration - 90 minutes (If candidates have selected two programmes)
Exam Duration - 135 - (If candidates have selected three programmes)
Weightage - 70%
Note: The TISSNET score will only be used for selecting the candidates to be invited for stage 2 and will not be added in the final score. The scores for Programme Aptitude Test and Personal Interview will get computed in a 70:30 ratio for the final selection.

Do we have to write the TISSMAT immediately after the TISSNET is over or there will be gap ?
TISS MAT is a common entrance examination conducted by the Tata Institute of Social Sciences. Candidates who are looking for admission to MA in Human Resource Management & Labor Relations (HRM &LR) or MA in Organization Development, Change and Leadership (ODCL) courses need to appear for TISS MAT examination after TISSNET. TISSNET assesses the social aptitude of the participant whereas TISSMAT has been introduced to evaluate business aptitude of the participant. In 2021 TISSNET will be conducted on February 20 and the dates of TISSMAT is still not announced but it is expected that the TISSMAT exam date will be in the month of March or April. so, you don't have to write the TISSMAT immediately after the TISSNET. There will be enough time between the exams possibly a month.
