In order to register, candidates have to visit ignou.ac.in, which is the official website of IGNOU and register online. Before proceeding with the registration of IGNOU 2020, candidates should make sure that they fulfil the eligibility criteria of IGNOU for the course/s of their choice. Non-fulfilment of the eligibility criteria may result in the cancellation of candidate’s form of IGNOU registration 2020, even at a later stage. Aspirants can check the eligibility criteria for IGNOU 2020 admission given below in a nutshell.
For Master’s courses, candidates need to have a bachelor’s degree or a higher degree from a recognised university. The minimum aggregate requirements and compulsory subjects to have been studied may vary as per IGNOU courses. For some master’s courses, a bachelor’s degree along with a PG diploma or just a PG diploma may be compulsory.
For bachelor’s courses, candidates should have cleared their 10+2 from a recognised board or should have done a Bachelor Preparatory Programme (BPP) from IGNOU. However, some courses may require candidates to have completed their graduation/hold a PG diploma/be in-service/possess minimum experience.

Step 4: Pay the for IGNOU registration 2020
Candidates can remit the IGNOU registration online through a secured gateway provided by the university
The registration fee can be paid via Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking/ATM Card (PNB)

Select Debit/Credit Card option to pay the registration fee and follow the online instruction to complete the payment. After successful payment, print/save the payment confirmation slip to be shown in the future as a proof.

If candidates have a net banking account, then they can select this option. Candidates will be redirected to their bank's website.
Payment by ATM Card (PNB)
Candidates can also pay via their ATM card. But they must make sure that the payment will be accepted only if the card is of Punjab National Bank (PNB)
The university will start the registration of IGNOU 2020 examination form for December Term End Examinations from the first week of September 2020. Candidates can fill the examination form of IGNOU 2020 for December TEE till the first month of October without any late fee. However, applicants will have to pay extra fees for late submissions until the first week of November 2020. To fill the IGNOU 2020 examination form for December term-end examinations, candidates will be required to login into IGNOU portal using their enrolment ID and programme code. The examination fee of IGNOU for each practical and theory course is Rs.150, which can be paid using a credit card, debit card or net banking. Candidates can check the status of IGNOU 2020 examination form after 72hrs of registration. The examination fee of IGNOU 2020 is non-refundable.

The username and password generated after registration of IGNOU 2020 should be retained by the candidates till the time they are enrolled with the university.
Candidates’ application form may get rejected by the university due to discrepancies or errors.
A print out of the completed application form must be taken out and retained by candidates for future references.

The registration process of IGNOU 2020 for January cycle has started on November 15, 2020. While, the IGNOU 2020 registration for the July cycle will be started from the month of May.

The mode of fee payment is online. Candidates will have the option to choose either Net Banking or Credit/Debit card or ATM(PNB) to conduct their payments to complete registration.
Candidates will not be able to register for IGNOU anymore beyond the last date. Since candidates are provided with an ample amount of time for registrations, they should be ideally done with IGNOU 2020 registration well within time.
Candidates will be required to enter their name, parents’/husband’s names, date of birth, email ID, gender, mobile number, username, password to complete the registration process.
Candidates will be sent a username and password via email and SMS upon successful IGNOU 2020 registration. Using these credentials, they will have to login again to fill the application form.
After registration with IGNOU 2020, candidates will have to select the course they want to apply for and details related to their qualifications. Additionally, candidates will have to upload the following documents - scanned copies of signature and photograph (less than 100 KB), scanned copies of experience certificate, age proof certificate, BPL certificate if any (less than 400 KB).
After providing all the details in every section of the form, the website will ask if candidates want to make any changes. Select ‘Next’ to continue. However, if candidates want to make any changes, they must select ‘Edit’ and correct the mistakes accordingly
Candidates will need enrolment number and password to login for the re-registration process. After entering the details, candidates will have to fill in the course details (elective or optional courses from the given groups).
