IGNOU 2019 Registration - Eligibility Criteria
Before proceeding with the registration of IGNOU 2019, candidates should make sure that they fulfil the eligibility criteria for the course of their choice. Non-fulfilment of the eligibility criteria may result in cancellation of the student’s IGNOU application form 2019 at any stage. Given below is the eligibility criteria for IGNOU 2019 admission in a nutshell.
For Master’s courses, candidates need to have a bachelor’s degree or a higher degree from a recognised university. The minimum aggregate requirements and compulsory subjects to have been studied may vary as per courses. For some master’s courses a bachelor’s degree along with a PG diploma or just a PG diploma may be compulsory.
For bachelor’s courses, candidates should have cleared their 10+2 from a recognised board or BPP from IGNOU. However, some courses may require candidates to have completed their graduation/hold a PG diploma/be in-service/possess minimum experience.

Firstly, candidates will have to click on the official link given below to go about registration of IGNOU 2019.
Next, candidates will have to click on ‘apply online’.
Upon clicking on the link, a new page will open with the ‘registration form’.
In this form, candidates will be required to enter important details such as name, parents’/husband’s names, date of birth, email ID, gender, mobile number, username, password. They will also have to enter the given code to complete IGNOU registration 2019.
The username and password will now be generated and sent to candidates via an SMS or email. These credentials must be retained by the candidate as he/she will need it time to time to check details regarding their admission like admission status, assignment status, result, and so on.
Upon subsequent login, candidates will have to fill the application form of IGNOU 2019, wherein they will be entering details related to programme, course, correspondence, and qualifications.
An important point to be kept in mind by candidates is that if in the qualification section the subjects mentioned are different from the subject they wish to opt for, they will have to click on ‘others’.
Those with qualifications like graduation and above will have to select ‘9999’ in the ‘board code’.
