IGNOU PGDRPC Entrance Test Eligibility Criteria 2026

Students who are willing to apply for these newly added PG courses must read the eligibility requirements first. Candidates must possess any one of the following qualifications:

Minimum Marks Requirement: 55% marks in aggregate for the General category, 50% Marks in aggregate for SC/ST/OBC-NCL candidates. An entry qualification must be obtained from a UGC-recognised University.

Qualification Criteria: Bachelor’s Degree (Regular Mode) with General Psychology as a subject in all three Years

• Or, a Master’s Degree in any branch of Psychology, either in regular or distance mode

• Or, a Master’s Degree in Counselling Psychology, either in regular or distance mode

IGNOU PGDRPC Application Form 2026

The IGNOU PGDRPC admission 2026 started on February 24. Students were able to access the PGDRPC admission from at the official website only. The last date to apply for the programme was March 10, 2026. The following are the steps to fill out the application form.

• Open the website link- ignoupgdrpc.samarth.edu.in

• Click on the ‘New Registration’ option.

• Fill the details along with the user name and password.

• Then submit the details using the ‘Submit’ button.

• Log in using the credentials provided.

• Enter your academic details.

• Choose the exam centre. You can choose upto three regional centres.

• Upload the document.

• Pay the IGNOU PGDRPC application fee.

• Submit the form.

• Take print out of the submitted form and also the fee receipt.

The entrance exam fee can be paid by Credit Card (Master/Visa), Debit Card (Master/Visa/Rupay) and Net Banking.

IGNOU PGDRPC Entrance Exam Pattern 2026

IGNOU PGDRPC Entrance Exam Syllabus 2026

The IGNOU PGDRPC entrance exam syllabus has a total of 6 units. The syllabus is well divided into topics and subtopics for the convenience of the candidates. The syllabus of the entrance exam covers topics such as General and Social Psychology, Disability Studies and Rehabilitation, Statistics in Psychology and others.

IGNOU PGDRPC 2026 Admit Card

The university will issue the IGNOU PGDRPC admit card 2026 soon on the official website. The admit card of the entrance exam can be downloaded using the login credentials. The IGNOU PGDRPC Entrance Exam Admit Card is an important document to appear in the entrance exam. The hall ticket contains the allotted exam centre, exam date and time of the exam.

Aspirants must read the details of the admit card very thoroughly. In case any discrepancies are found, he/she must contact the IGNOU centres. The exam will be conducted in offline mode.

IGNOU PGDRPC 2026 Result

The IGNOU PGDRPC entrance result is expected to be declared in July. The entrance test result will be accessible at ignoupgdrpc.samarth.edu.in. The result contains the marks obtained by the candidates in the exam. Admission to PGDRPC shall be based strictly on the entrance test score only. If two or more candidates secure the same entrance test score, the Date of Birth shall be used as the tie-breaking criterion, with the older candidate (having the earlier date of birth) being placed higher in the merit ranking.

IGNOU PGDRPC Merit List 2026

The IGNOU PGDRPC merit list will be prepared after the declaration of the final result. The IGNOU 2026 PGDRPC final merit list contains the names of the finally selected candidates. The final Region-wise merit list shall be prepared after verifying the following:

• Fulfilment of minimum eligibility criteria

• Entrance Test Score

• Category (UR/SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PwD/EWS, and other categories as applicable)

• Choice of the Regional Centre opted by the candidate

IGNOU PGDRPC Regional Centres 2026

The PGDRPC programme will be provided through 8 regional centres. There are a total 200 seats allocated for the programme being 25 seats at each regional centre The list of 8 authorised regional centres along with the work centres are provided in the table below.
