Students are required to go through the IGNOU PG 2026 eligibility criteria of various programmes as given below:

• Candidates must have a bachelor's degree or any other equivalent degree from a recognised university.

• Students from General category must score at least 50% marks in their qualifying degree. Candidates from other categories such as (SC/ST/OBC/PwD) are required to score minimum 45% marks.

• There is no age limit for admissions.

• There is no entrance exam for admission to the IGNOU PG programmes 2026. Admission is based on merit.

Step 6: Fill out the application form

After logging in, you will find an IGNOU PG application form. Take your time and fill it out carefully.

Step 7: Upload necessary documents

Upload the following documents:

• Latest photograph (in JPG format, not exceeding 100KB)
• Scanned signature (in JPG format, not exceeding 100KB)
• Relevant documents (each not exceeding 400KB, either in JPG or PDF format)

Step 8: Complete the registration fee payment

To finalise your application, make the registration fee payment.

IGNOU PG 2026 Application Fee

IGNOU PG Re-registration 2026

The university will close the IGNOU January 2026 PG re-registration process on January 31. Students are required to complete their IGNOU PG re-registration form using their enrollment number and program code by visiting the official website. This is a mandatory procedure for all IGNOU students who intend to enrol in the upcoming semester or academic year. The fee for re-registration for IGNOU PG can be paid through various modes such as net banking, UPI, debit card or credit card.

How to fill IGNOU PG Re-Registration Form 2026

Step 1: Go to the official website of IGNOU (ignou.ac.in).

Step 2: On the homepage, you will find a section called "Register Online". Under this section, click on the "Re-Registration" link.

Step 3: You will be redirected to a new page. Here, click on the "Apply Online for Re-Registration Form" tab.

Step 4: Read the instructions carefully and then click on the checkbox next to the declaration statement.

Step 5: Now, click on the "Login" button. If you are a new user, click on the "Register Yourself" link and create an account first.

Step 6: Enter your username and password to login.

Step 10: After successful payment, take a printout of the confirmation page for future reference.

IGNOU Date Sheet 2026
