The LPUNEST 2025 scholarship exam syllabus for B.Tech at Lovely Professional University is designed to assess a student’s understanding of key subjects studied in Classes XI and XII. It includes sections on Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Biology (depending on the stream chosen), and English. The Physics syllabus covers topics such as kinematics, laws of motion, work, energy and power, thermodynamics, electrostatics, optics, and modern physics. Chemistry includes physical, organic, and inorganic topics like atomic structure, chemical bonding, equilibrium, hydrocarbons, and biomolecules. Mathematics comprises algebra, calculus, vectors, trigonometry, and statistics, while Biology includes plant and human physiology, genetics, reproduction, biotechnology, and ecology. English focuses on grammar, vocabulary, sentence correction, and comprehension passages. The exam is computer-based, with a total of 100 questions: 25 each from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology, and English. Given your JEE Main rank (922 All India Rank) and CRL of 1.16 lakh, and considering financial constraints that make colleges like Chandigarh University (CU) or Lovely Professional University (LPU) less affordable, choosing between IPE at NIT Jalandhar, CSE at UIET Hoshiarpur, and ECE at CCET Chandigarh involves weighing the value of the institute, branch, and future career prospects. NIT Jalandhar, being a National Institute of Technology, has a strong reputation nationally, excellent infrastructure, and better placement opportunities across all branches compared to state colleges. Even if you choose Instrumentation and Process Engineering (IPE), which is a niche branch, the prestige of NIT and its connections with industry can offer good internships and jobs. UIET Hoshiarpur is affiliated with Punjab University and has a decent reputation, especially for CSE, which is a high-demand branch with better placement potential compared to ECE in CCET Chandigarh. CCET Chandigarh is well-regarded regionally, but ECE placements may not be as strong or lucrative as CSE placements.
