SET Exam 2025: Application Form (Released), Dates (Out), Syllabus, Pattern, Question Papers, Mock Test

Students are advised to check the SET 2025 eligibility criteria for their prefereed courses before filling out the applciation form.  Institute-wise Eligibility Criteria for SET 

The application process of SET 2025 has started on December 6 in online mode. Candidates can apply for SET 2025 exam till April 12.  It is to be noted that candidates are required to pay the programme fee separately for admissions in addition to the application fee of SET exam 2025. Following are the steps to apply for the SET 2025 entrance test.

Step 1: Register online for SET 2025. The user ID and password will be generated. 

Step 2: Fill all details in the form including personal, educational, communication details, three choices of exam centres, choices of courses/ institutes and book the slots. One can apply for up to two exams (one from the morning shift and one from the evening).

Step 3: Upload scanned copies of recent passport sized photograph (not be more than 3 months old ) and signature of the specified size.

Step 4: Pay the application fee. Payment can be made online through Easebuss Payment Gateway, Billdesk Gateway, and Indian Bank Gateway or offline via Demand Draft (DD) in favour of “Symbiosis Test Secretariat” payable at Pune (through a nationalized bank). 

Step 5: In case of offline payment, students have to take a printout of the payment advice form available in the registration portal, fill in the details of DD, sign it and send it along with the DD to Symbiosis Test Secretariat, Symbiosis International (Deemed University), Gram: Lavale, Tal: Mulshi, Dist.: Pune – 412115

How to make corrections in SET Application Form 2025?

1. Go to the "Existing User" tabon the SET exam official website

2. Login by entering the SET ID/ Email ID and password

3. Make the necessary corrections in the application form and save.

Students are allowed to make changes in SET application form 2025 (except exam city preference and admission category) until the deadline.

Candidates are advised to check the SET exam pattern 2025 before preparing for the Symbiosis entrance test. The details related to the mode of exam, number of sections and questions, nature of questions, total time duration, marking scheme and all will be provided under the exam pattern of SET 2025. Usually, SET 2025 is a computer-based test in which each question has four options followed by a written ability test. • SET exam is a qualifying phase. So, in effect, you can participate in PI only if you have been shortlisted for the same based on your score of the SET exam 2025.
• Candidates will be required to respond to a subjective, essay-type question in a span of 30 minutes. This section will be evaluated only if candidates have been shortlisted for further admission process

Candidates appearing for SET 2025 can use the given preparation tips to crack the exam. While the exam and syllabus for each course is different, the preparation guidelines are mostly common. 

• Go through the entire syllabus before preparing the study plan. Mark out the topics that you might find a little difficult than the others. 

• In the study timetable, cover the less difficult portions first and allot more time to the tougher sections. Make short notes while studying for SET exam.

• Cover each and every topic in the SET 2025 syllabus. Consult expert faculty for sections you find difficult and clarify your doubts.

• Revision is always the key to good preparation. The short notes prepared while studying comes handy here. Since you do not have to go through the entire textbook all over again, it also saves a lot of time. 

• Practise SET mock test and sample papers. This acquaints you with the exam pattern better and helps you improve your time and accuracy during the main exam. It also familiarizes you with the important topics asked in SET 2025 exam.

Symbiosis International (Deemed University) will release the SET exam 2025 admit card for phase 1 on April 25 on its official website. The SET 2025 admit card for phase 2 will be issued on April 30. Candidates who have filled out the SET application form can download the SET admit card 2025 by using their login ID and password. The SET admit card 2025 will be available for download till the day of the entrance test. Students who have paid the application fee via offline mode (DD) can download their admit card only after the realization of the application fee payment.

Documents to carry with SET admit card 2025

Candidates must carry any one of the following photo Ids along with the admit card to the SET exam centre. The Id must be a valid and original one. 

1. Driving license. 

2. Voter ID Card.

3. Passport.  

4. Pan Card

5. Aadhar Card (UID)

Important Instructions for Candidates 

• Students who are appearing for two exams must carry two separate admit card for each SET test respectively.

• After downloading the admit card, they must paste a photograph not more than 3 months old in the space provided.

• They must get their admit card authenticated by the invigilator on SET exam day and keep the same safe till admissions are completed.

• Candidates must take a colour printout only to the SET 2025. 

• Candidates cannot carry cell phones, calculators, watch calculators, alarm clocks, digital watches with built in calculators/ memory or any electronic or smart devices to the exam hall else they will be disqualified. 

The result of SET 2025 entrance test will be declared on May 5 for phase 1. The SET phase 2 result 2025 will be announced on May 11. The validity of the result for SET 2025 is one academic year. The merit list and waiting list of SET 2025 will be released after the entrance exam result. The waiting list of SET 2025 will depend upon the number of vacant seats in various programmes. What after SET result?

The candidates are required to apply for admissions to the respective institutes for the courses of their preference. They will be shortlisted on the basis of their merit in SET exam 2025. They must qualify in the further process like interview and GD etc as applicable. Thereafter they must confirm their admissions if they are selected for the same.

The students who are deemed as qualified after the result of aptitude test and written ability test will be called for personal interview. It is mandatory for all the candidates to appear in all of the rounds - aptitude test, WAT and PI/GD to be eligible for admission to the UG programmes.
