The university conducts the SET exam every year to offer admission to various courses like BBA, BCA, BSc, BA and more. The SET exam duration is 60 minutes. Held by Symbiosis International University (Deemed University), Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) is an entrance test for admissions to undergraduate programmes offered by 12 institutes affiliated to the university. SET Test is an online mode exam for various UG courses such as BBA, BA, BCA, and BSc Hons.
Candidates preparing to take admission in Symbiosis School of Liberal Arts must note that for admission to SSLA, candidates are not required to appear for the SET exam. Candidates are advised to visit the official portal at ssla.edu.in to apply for programmes offered by SSLA.
Note: Candidates preparing for admission in the BA Liberal Arts programme, with honours or research projects, with specialisation, in subjects such as Media Studies, International Relations, Business Studies and others are required to visit the SSLA portal at ssla.edu.in. Admission to BA Liberal Arts programmes is not conducted through the Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET).

Note: The SET entrance exam is a qualifying step for admission. Students will only be invited for the Personal Interview (PI) if their SET 2026 score meets the shortlisting criteria. Also, students have to answer a 30-minute essay question, but this essay will only be graded if you've been shortlisted for the next stage of admissions.

Candidates must carry any one of the following photo Ids along with the admit card to the SET exam centre. The Id must be a valid and original one.

If you're taking two SET tests, you'll need a separate admit card for each.
After downloading your admit card, attach a recent photo (taken within the last 3 months).
n exam day, have your admit card signed by the invigilator. Keep it safe until admissions are finalized.
Make sure to bring a color printout of your admit card to the exam.
Leave all electronic devices at home, including cell phones, calculators, and smartwatches. Bringing them will lead to disqualification.

The candidates are required to apply for admissions to the respective institutes for the courses of their preference. They will be shortlisted on the basis of their merit in SET exam 2026. They must qualify in the further process like interview and GD etc as applicable. Thereafter they must confirm their admissions if they are selected for the same.

The students who are deemed as qualified after the result of aptitude test and written ability test will be called for personal interview. It is mandatory for all the candidates to appear in all of the rounds - aptitude test, WAT and PI/GD to be eligible for admission to the UG programmes.
