Jamia Millia Islamia result 2024 will be announced in online mode only. Candidates can follow the detailed steps mentioned below to check the JMI 2024 result.
Step 1 - Visit the official website - jmi.ac.in.
Step 2 - On the home page, click on the entrance Test Result tab.
Step 3 - On the login page, select the course type from the dropdown menu, followed by the course name.
Step 4 - Now, enter the captcha given on the screen and click on the search tab.
Step 5 - The provisional list of selected candidates will be displayed on the screens.

Candidates who have qualified the JMI entrance 2024 will advance to the later stage of JMI admission process. The later stage of JMI 2024 admission process includes JMI counselling where document verification, interviews are conducted.
Stages of JMI result 2024
There are two stages of Jamia entrance result, general/initial result and spot registrations.
JMI general/initial result 2024
The general/ initial JMI result will be released in the form of a selection list. This selection list will be prepared on the basis of the candidate's performance in the JMI entrance exam 2024. The university may publish up to four JMI selection lists. Once the candidate got selected in the general/initial result, he/she has to visit the concerned department head for document verification and submission of required documents. If the candidate fails to do so at the designated time, then the admission will be cancelled.

In case a few seats remain vacant after the general round, then JMI will conduct spot registrations. For JMI 2024 spot registration, candidates need to first register themselves through the links provided by the University on the official website.

JMI 2024 Result - Interview
Those candidates who will clear the entrance exam will be pre-selected for the interview if applicable. In order to get selected for the interview round, candidates have to score a minimum of 30% in the descriptive section of their entrance exam. Candidates who qualify the interview and portfolio round will get admission in JMI.
JMI 2024 Result - Key Points
The selection lists of the provisionally selected candidates and the waiting list will be released on the official website of JMI.
The merit list will be released on the basis of the candidate’s performance in the entrance exams of their respective programmes while keeping the rules of reservations and relaxations in mind.
JMI result 2024 is subject to clearance from the universities 'Not to be admitted list' by the Proctor.
No information about the announcement of the JMI results is sent to candidates via postal mail.
The candidates chosen for interviews are listed in ascending order of their roll numbers.
Jamia may display additional lists of candidates chosen for the waiting list in descending order of merit.
JMI Result 2024 - What is Tie-Breaking Policy?
If two or more candidates obtain the same scores in the JMI entrance exam, then the merit list will be prepared on the basis of the following policy.
Except for BTech, BArch, and BDS, ties are resolved on the basis of date of birth, with the candidates older in age receiving the higher rank.
Candidates who achieve high marks in the entrance exam are given a higher rank for interview programmes. If the marks in the written test are the same, the date of birth criteria is used, which means that candidates who are older are given a higher rank.
The agency administering the test determines the rank for BTech, B.Arch, and BDS programmes.
JMI Result 2024 for Revaluation
Students who are not satisfied with the marks obtained in the JMI 2024 results, then they can apply for revaluation. The application forms for revaluation will be made available on JMI's official website. Students will find the revaluation form at the bottom of the results page.
JMI Selection List 2024
The JMI 2024 selection list includes the category-specific cut-off marks required to pass the examination. The university issues approximately four JMI selection lists. The selected candidates will be called for document verification. Candidates can review the previous year’s JMI selection lists for various UG and PG programmes to get a sense of how the results are announced following the JMI entrance examination.

JMI Cutoff 2024
The JMI cutoffs are the minimum marks required to qualify the JMI 2024 entrance exam. The JMI cutoff varies on a number of factors such as the total number of candidates appeared, total seats available, reservation criteria, etc. Candidates who will score equivalent or more marks in the JMI cut-off will be called for the counselling. The exam is given in an online setting. The exam lasts for two hours overall and has objective-type questions. General English, Reasoning, and Awareness of the World questions are included.
But it doesn't means that you can give this exam at home. You need to appear for this exam at your respective exam centre.

The Minimum Academic Qualifications for the (B.Ed) entrance exam at Jamia Millia Islamia necessary are as follows:
Bachelor's Degree in school teaching subject with not less than 45% marks and at least 50% marks in Master's Degree Examination in the same school teaching subject in which the candidate has applied.
OR
Bachelor's Degree in school teaching subject with not less than 50% marks.
The main school teaching subject in which the candidate is applying for should have been studied in all years or semesters.
Unfortunately, you cannot apply for B.Ed for history or political science in JMI but you can apply for B.Ed in Mathematics and Economics.
