Step 1 - Visit the official website - jmi.ac.in.
Step 2 - On the home page, click on the entrance Test Result tab.

Step 5 - The provisional list of selected candidates will be displayed on the screens.

There are two stages of Jamia entrance result, general/initial result and spot registrations.
JMI General/initial Result 2026
The general/ initial JMI result will be released in the form of a selection list. This selection list will be prepared on the basis of the candidate's performance in the JMI entrance exam 2026. The university may publish up to four JMI selection lists. Once the candidate gets selected in the general/initial result, he/she has to visit the concerned department head for document verification and submission of required documents. If the candidate fails to do so at the designated time, then the admission will be cancelled.

Those candidates who will clear the entrance exam will be pre-selected for the interview if applicable. In order to get selected for the interview round, candidates have to score a minimum of 30% in the descriptive section of their entrance exam. Candidates who qualify the interview and portfolio round will get admission in JMI.

The merit list will be released on the basis of the candidate’s performance in the entrance exams of their respective programmes while keeping the rules of reservations and relaxations in mind.
JMI result 2026 is subject to clearance from the universities 'Not to be admitted list' by the Proctor.
No information about the announcement of the JMI results is sent to candidates via postal mail.
The candidates chosen for interviews are listed in ascending order of their roll numbers.
Jamia may display additional lists of candidates chosen for the waiting list in descending order of merit.
If two or more candidates obtain the same scores in the JMI entrance exam, then the merit list will be prepared on the basis of the following policy.
Except for BTech, BArch, and BDS, ties are resolved on the basis of date of birth, with the candidates older in age receiving the higher rank.
Candidates who achieve high marks in the entrance exam are given a higher rank for interview programmes. If the marks in the written test are the same, the date of birth criteria is used, which means that candidates who are older are given a higher rank.
The agency administering the test determines the rank for BTech, B.Arch, and BDS programmes.
Students who are not satisfied with the marks obtained in the JMI 2026 results, then they can apply for revaluation. The application forms for revaluation will be made available on JMI's official website. Students will find the revaluation form at the bottom of the results page.
The JMI 2026 selection list includes the category-specific cut-off marks required to pass the examination. The university issues approximately four JMI selection lists. The selected candidates will be called for document verification. The exam is given in an online setting. The exam lasts for two hours overall and has objective-type questions. General English, Reasoning, and Awareness of the World questions are included.
