EFLU Application Form 2020 - English and Foreign Languages University had released the EFLU 2020 application form on December 17, 2019. The mode of application of EFLU 2020 was online only. The last date to fill EFLU 2020 application form was extended till January 21, 2020. To fill the application form of EFLU, candidates were needed to first complete the registration process by entering their name, email ID, date of birth, and mobile number. After the registration process is finished, candidates are required to enter the academic, personal and contact details and submit EFLU admission form 2020. Before filling the application form of EFLU 2020, candidates must check the eligibility criteria for the courses they are willing to apply. The entrance examination of EFLU will be conducted on February 29 and March 1, 2020 for PG/PGD/PHD programmes and on April 12, 2020 for PG programmes.

EFLU Eligibility Criteria 2020

Candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria of EFLU 2020 before filling the application form. EFLU 2020 eligibility criteria vary depending upon the categories of the candidates for both UG and PG courses.

UG Courses

Intermediate with 50% marks (for General/ OBC Category) and 45% (for SC/ ST) with English as one of the subjects

PG Courses

A Bachelor’s degree with 55% marks (for General Category) and 50% (for SC/ ST). For foreign language, candidates must have completed their Bachelor’s degree in the concerned language or a Bachelor’s degree with B1 level proficiency certificate

How to fill EFLU Application Form 2020

Given below are detailed instructions to fill the EFLU 2020 application form. Candidates can refer to these steps to easily fill in the application form.

EFLU Application Form 2020 - Documents to Keep in Handy

Applicants must keep the following documents handy while filling the EFLU application form 2020.

  • Photograph and Signature of the candidate

  • Debit Card/ Credit card/ Netbanking codes

  • JRF certificate

  • WDP/PWD certificates

  • Reserved category certificate for SC/ST/OBC candidates

  • Aadhar card/ Parent’s or Guardian’s ration card/ Voter ID Card

Filling EFLU Application Form 2020

Step 1 - Registration

  • Click on the official website link efluuniversity.ac.in

  • Go to the "Academic Announcements" sections in yellow colour tab

  • Click on "Entrance Exam 2020-21" link. A new page will open.

  • Click on "Registration Link". The following page will open.

  • Candidates need to first register themselves with EFLU by providing their name, email ID, mobile number, and date of birth.

  • After entering all the details, click on the declaration and then on ‘submit’ button.

  • Registered candidates will be sent a password on their email ID and mobile number. This should be retained by the candidate for future references.

Step 2 – Filling the Application Form

  • Select ‘Go to the application form’ tab on the top corner on the right side of the page to start filling EFLU 2020 application form.

  • The application form of EFLU 2020 with the 'Personal Details' section will be displayed on the screen.

  • Further, applicants need to fill the Guardians email-ID, Category, Blood Group, Gender, Nationality, Parents and other details including the academic details

  • After entering all the details click on 'Save and Next', candidates will be directed to the general information section which includes 'permanent address' mailing address and other statistical data to be entered by the candidates.

  • Click on “Save and Next” after entering the required details.

  • Candidates will now be required to upload their requisite documents. Separate to upload the documents named ‘upload photo’, ‘upload signature’, ‘upload proof for OBC/SC/ST/PWD/WDP’ and so on will be given to the candidates.

Step 3 - Uploading the Documents

Given below are the documents which applicants are required to upload in their EFLU application form 2020. Candidates can find the specifications as well in which the documents needed to be uploaded.

  • Scanned photograph and signature

  • Scanned copy of the PWD certificate for candidates with a disability

  • Scanned copy of WDP certificate forwards of defence personnel

  • Scanned copy of candidate’s Aadhar card/voter card/passport/ration card

  • Scanned copy of the caste certificate for SC/ST/OBC candidates

Document Specifications




  • A recent passport-size colour photograph(200*300 pixels) with white background in not more than 50 kb

  • .jpg/.jpeg format

  • Candidates should adjust the settings of the scanner like dpi resolution while scanning the photo

  • Candidates should not wear hats, dark glasses and religious headgear must not cover the candidate’s face


  • 140*60 pixels

  • White paper

  • Black ink/ballpoint pen

  • .jpg/.jpeg format

  • Not more than 20 KB

  • Signature on the answer script matches with the signature uploaded.

OBC/SC/ST/PWD/WDP certificate

  • Scanner resolution - Not less than 200 dpi

  • jpg or .jpeg format

  • 50 to 150 KB

  • Colour - True colour

  • Crop the image in the scanner to the image’s edge and then use the upload editor to crop the image to final size

Step 4 – Application Fee Payment

Candidates are now required to pay the application fees. The mode of fee payment against the application form of EFLU 2020 is online only. Candidates can make the payment either by net banking, credit card or debit card.

  • The admission fee of EFLU is non-refundable.

  • After the payment step, candidates can click on the ‘submit’ button.

  • Candidates will also receive an email and SMS for the payment confirmation.

EFLU 2020 Application Form – Important Instructions

  • Candidates are required to provide a valid email ID while registering for EFLU 2020.

  • Candidates can apply for a maximum of two full-time programmes in a single application form of EFLU.

  • Candidates are not allowed to apply for the same programme in more than one campus.

  • Candidates can select the maximum three cities for the exam centre

  • Candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ OBC categories need to submit a caste/ tribe certificate before filling the EFLU 2020 application form,

  • If a candidate does not meet the required eligibility criteria, the application may get cancelled at the later stage of admission.

EFLU Admit Card 2020

Applicants of English and Foreign Languages University are required to carry the admit card of EFLU 2020 to the examination centre. EFLU 2020 admit card can be downloaded from the official website of the university from February 19, 2020. EFLU hall tickets will not be sent to the applicants by post/ courier. It must be noted that those candidates who will not carry the admit card of EFLU 2020 will not be allowed to appear in the examination. EFLU admit card 2020 mentions the important details about the students such as the name of the candidate, roll number, exam centre address, exam timings, date of birth, course applied, etc.

Eflu entrance exam is conducted by The English and Foreign Languages University for admission to various ug and pg courses. January 21, 2020 was the Last date to submit the application form for the Eflu entrance exam. So unfortunately now you can not apply for the entrance exam.

The English and foreign language University takes admission on the basis of EFLU entrance test.

University offers the graduation and post graduation courses in the disciplines and sub-disciplines of English and foreign languages.

If a student perform well in the entrance test and meet the minimum eligiblity criteria he can get admission in EFLU.

Yes, a graduation degree with minimum aggregate 55% for general and OBC  and 50% for SC or ST is eligible for MA English in EFLU. As you have secured 70% then you have very high chances of getting in so there's no need to worry.
