DU PG Admission 2020 - The University of Delhi will start the process of DU PG 2020 admission from March 2, 2020 in online mode. National Testing Agency (NTA) has released an official notification on DU PG admission schedule 2020 on August 21, 2019. Candidates who wish to take admission in various postgraduate programmes offered by the university can register themselves from March 2 to March 31, 2020. The admit card of DU PG 2020 will be released on April 30, 2020. DU PG 2020 admission will be conducted based on the performance on the entrance examination and the merit in the last qualifying examination. Delhi University Entrance Examination 2020, also known as DUET will be conducted from June 2 to June 9, 2020. The university releases maximum five DU PG 2020 admission list after the commencement of entrance examination. After the announcement of the admission lists, candidates are invited for the document verification process where candidates are allotted a seat.

There are two types of DU PG courses 2020. i.e, Merit based and Entrance based. 50% seats of all the courses of DU PG 2020 will be filled through Delhi University entrance test 2020 and remaining will be filled based on the applicant’s merit in the last qualifying examination.

Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree from Delhi University or any recognized University considered equivalent thereto. As per the eligibility criteria of DU PG 2020, there is no minimum age criteria for admission in postgraduate courses offered by the affiliated colleges of the university, except in courses where MCI (Medical Council of India), AICTE (All India Council of Technical Education), BCI (Bar Council of India) have prescribed the minimum age required.The qualifying percentage criteria will vary for different PG programmes of DU PG 2020 admission. Candidates appearing for DUET 2020 must know the DU PG 2020 eligibility criteria before filling the application form. Any candidate who will fail to meet DU PG eligibility criteria 2020 will not be granted admission even if the candidate qualifies the DU PG 2020 entrance exam
The application form of DU PG 2020 will be released on March 2, 2020. To fill DU PG 2020 application form candidates need to register themselves by entering their details in the online portal of DU PG 2020 registration. For login after registration, candidates need to use the username and password created during the registration process. After the successful login, candidates need to fill fill up the application form of DU PG 2020 admission. Candidates can apply for multiple programmes in one single DU PG 2020 application form. The application fee of DU PG 2020 has to be paid after filling all the academic, personal and contact details either by credit card, debit card or net banking.

The admit card of DU PG 2020 will be released in online mode on April 30, 2020. Candidates who will register themselves for Delhi University Entrance Exam 2020 can download DU PG 2020 admit card using their login credentials. DU PG admit card 2020 will include the exam centre, exam dates, programme name, time of exam commencement and exam venue. Candidates need to carry their DU PG 2020 admit card and a valid photo id to the examination centre.

In a case where candidates securing equal marks in the Delhi University entrance examination, the candidates with higher % of marks in the qualifying examination (as mentioned in eligibility criteria) will be offered admission first.
In a case where candidates having the same marks in qualifying examination, DU PG 2020 admission will be offered in the following order of preference.
Candidates having higher % in graduation final year.
Having a higher % in an examination prior to graduation final year and so on.
Having a higher aggregate of marks (5 subjects including 1 language) in 12th board exam.
The above-mentioned tie-breaking will be same in case of Merit-based admission in DU PG.
The University of Delhi will release maximum five cut off of DU PG 2020 along with the admission list. Candidates can check the DU 2020 cut off by visiting the official website of university. The cut off of DU PG 2020 will vary depending upon the courses and the category of the candidates. DU PG cut off 2020 is made based on the many factors including previous year cut off trends, difficulty of entrance examination, number of applicants and number of seats offered for a programme. The cut off of DU PG 2020 includes the combined rank, final entrance marks, category and the name of the course.
The merit list of DU PG 2020 will be released in online mode after the announcement of results. The university will release maximum five DU PG 2020 merit list. Each department of the university will release seperate DU PG cut off 2020 based on the courses and the category of the candidates. DU PG 2020 admission list will be released based on the aggregate marks for those courses where interview or group discussion is required after the entrance test. Those candidates whose names will appear In the merit list of DU PG 2020 need to report ath the respective college for the verification of documents.
