DU PG Merit List 2019 - The University of Delhi has released fifth DU 2019 merit list for some of the PG courses in online mode on August 27, 2019. Candidates who had appeared in the entrance examination of Delhi University 2019 can check the merit list of DU 2019 in the form of pdf. Earlier, the university had released the fourth, third, second and first DU 2019 merit list in online mode. The university had also released the sixth merit list of DUET 2019 for B. Ed Special Education. The varsity prepares the DU PG merit list 2019 on the basis of the marks secured by the candidates in the entrance test. The merit list of DU PG mentions the overall scores of the candidates and shortlisting the names of candidates for interview and counselling related to the admission procedure. How to check DU PG Merit List 2019
Candidates need to follow the steps mentioned below
Visit the official website of NTA or DU
Select the course for which the DU PG 2019 merit list is sought
A PDF file will be opened which will include details such as candidate's name, roll number, marks and rank secured in the DU PG entrance examination.
Candidates can also download the DU PG merit list 2019 in pdf format and keep it for future reference.
Candidates are advised to check all the important mentions after getting the merit list of DU PG 2019.
Name – It mentions the name of the candidate appearing in the Delhi University Entrance Examination that is mentioned in the DUET PG merit list.
Roll number – It is the number issued to the candidate printed on admit card.
Course – It is the specific course a candidate may apply for.
Score – It is the score obtained by the candidate in DU PG 2019.
Category – It is the category under which the applicant may apply for DU PG 2019.
Category wise rank - It is the rank secured by a candidate in the category merit list.

For candidates obtaining equal marks in the entrance exam of DU PG, candidates with higher % of marks in the qualifying examination will be offered admission first.
For candidates securing same marks in qualifying examination, admission in DU PG will be offered in the following order of preference.
Candidates having higher % in graduation final year.
Having a higher aggregate of marks (5 subjects including 1 language) in 12th board exam.
Having a higher % in an examination prior to graduation final year and so on.

After the declaration of merit list of DU PG, the respective departments releases the first admission list, second admission list of finally selected candidates and so on. The allotment of seats in the admission list is based on the rank of the candidate and depends on the seat availability in respective departments or colleges.
