Hello,

For DU B.Com (Hons) , you need one language subject plus either:

  • Maths/Applied Maths + any two academic subjects, or

  • Accountancy/Bookkeeping + any two academic subjects.

For BHU B.Com (Hons) , you should have Commerce-related subjects in Class 12 like Accountancy, Business Studies, Economics, etc. Maths is not compulsory. You also need to take Accountancy/Bookkeeping, Business Studies, and the General Test in CUET.

Hope it helps !

Hello,

Yes, you can still get admission in some DU courses with 50% in Arts.

  • For many BA courses, the basic eligibility is around 40–45% , so you meet that.

  • But getting a seat depends mainly on your CUET score , because DU now takes admissions through CUET.

  • With 50% in board exams, you can apply, but admission to top colleges or popular BA (Hons) courses may be difficult because their cutoffs are usually higher.

  • You may get chances in BA Programme or in colleges with lower cutoffs.

Hope it helps !

Hello,

For B.A Pol Science at Delhi University, you should take one language from List A and three domain subjects from Section II, which include Political Science, and at least one core list like History, Economics, or Sociology. The third domain subject can be from the core list or the secondary list.

Hope it helps!!!

Hello,

If you passed 12th without Math's from Maharashtra Board and now plan to take Math's through NIOS ODE, DU will accept it only for courses where Math's is required, provided it’s a valid board exam result.

For courses like BCom (Hons) or BSc, Mathes in 12th is compulsory; for Arts or general B.A., it’s not needed.

So, you’ll be eligible if:

  • You clear the NIOS Math's exam before admission, and

  • The course you choose requires or accepts Math's from any recognized board.

Hello,

Yes, a psychology student from Delhi University's School of Open Learning (DU Sol) can appear for the CUET PG psychology exam, provided they meet the specific eligibility criteria requirement for the university they are applying to.

Hello,

For the DU SOL MBA first semester exam, you can study from these materials:

  1. DU SOL Study Material:
Download or collect the official study material from the DU SOL website or your study center. It covers all the topics in the syllabus.

  2. Recommended Books:
Use the books suggested in the syllabus or by your teachers. Authors like Philip Kotler (for Marketing) and Stephen P. Robbins (for Management) are good.

  3. Previous Year Question Papers:
Solve past papers to understand the exam pattern and important topics.

  4. Notes and Summaries:
Make short notes from your study material for quick revision before the exam.

  5. Online Sources:
Watch YouTube lectures or read free notes from trusted educational sites for better understanding.

These materials are enough to prepare well for your MBA 1st semester exam.

Hope it helps !

Hello, Yes, JNU is an excellent and well-regarded choice for an MPH. Its Centre of Social Medicine and Community Health (CSMCH) offers a 2-year Master of Public Health program known for its strong academic rigor. The program focuses heavily on the social sciences, research methodology, community health, and health policy. Admission is competitive, based on the CUET-PG exam and a personal interview.

Regarding Delhi University (DU), it does not have a well-known, central MPH program like JNU's. While the "Delhi School of Public Health" exists under its Institution of Eminence (IoE) initiative, its programs are still developing. You might find MPH programs at other state universities in Delhi, like Dr. B. R. Ambedkar University (AUD) or DPSRU, but these are separate from DU.

Therefore, if choosing between the two, JNU is the clear and established option for a research and policy-focused MPH.

I hope you found this information helpful and for any study related queries you can ask in careers360 app, Have a great day!

Yes, you are eligible for DU B.Com admission. DU considers only your Class 12 marks and CUET score, not your Class 10 subject-wise results. Your Class 10 Maths fail (E grade) will not affect admission, since your overall result is pass. You just need to clear Class 12 with required subjects and meet the CUET + DU cut-off criteria. So, focus on Class 12 and CUET preparation.
