DU Merit List 2025: The University of Delhi will release the DU 2025 first merit list on July 19. Candidates can download the DU first merit list 2025 through the DU CSAS portal at ugadmission.uod.ac.in. The selected aspirants from the first merit list will have to accept their seat and pay the college fees. The university will release three or four merit lists based on the seats availability in the respective college and courses. The merit list of DU 2025 is based on the CUET exam scores.

Programme-specific Delhi University merit list 2025 are calculated by the university according to eligibility criteria, and candidates must confirm their scores before making preferences. The candidate must select as many programmes he/she wishes to and it is in the best interest of the candidate to choose maximum programmes and Programme + College Combinations Delhi University calculate the DU UG merit list on the basis of three lists - List A and List B.
The Delhi University has released the DU CUET Simulated merit list 2025 at its website. These DU simulated ranks have been made available on the official website of DU. Candidates need to login to the CSAS portal to check their DU simulated rank list 2025. Through this DU simulated rank feature, candidates can check their tentative ranks and chances of getting a seat in their preferred college and programme.
If there are two or more than two candidates have the same DU merit list CUET scores, then the following rules will be applied to break the tie:
1. The candidate with a higher percentage of aggregate marks in the Best 3 subjects of class 12 will be given preference.
2. The candidate with a higher percentage of aggregate marks in the Best 4 subjects of Class 12 will be given preference.
3. The candidates with a higher percentage of aggregate marks in the Best 5 subjects of Class 12 will be given preference.
4. Age of the candidate; preference will be given to the candidate having an earlier date of birth (as mentioned in the Class 10 certificate).
The following reservation criteria will be applicable for admissions to Delhi University UG courses.
22.5% of the total numbers of seats are reserved for SC/ST (15% for SC and 7.5% for ST).
27% of seats are reserved for the OBC category candidates.
10% seats are reserved for the candidates who belong to the EWS category.
In Minority Colleges 50% of the seats are reserved for Minority candidates.
For admissions to ECA and Sports supernumerary seats a weightage of 25% will be given to CUET score and 75% to certificates/trials/performances.
After the release of the DU merit list UG, aspirants have to accept the allotted seat. Candidates have to visit the CSAS portal, login using their CUET credentials, and accept the DU seat. If the aspirant fails to accept the seat, the candidate's application will be cancelled. The DU colleges will check the documents uploaded by the aspirants and approve the seat.

The DU admission is based on the marks obtained in CUET UG exam and the DU list. The marks obtained in Class 12th does not matter in the admission process of Delhi University.
Preferably, candidates need to secure at least 60% marks in the CUET 2025 examination for admission into the University of Delhi.
