DU PG 2021 Exam Pattern - Instructions for online exam
National Test Agency (NTA) will conduct the entrance examination in computer-based mode. The online exam will start with candidates logging into their allotted computer by using their roll number and date of birth. Then, the invigilator announces the password to candidates.
After logging in, candidates will see instructions and functionalities of the exam on the screen and need to click on the ‘Continue’ tab to start the examination.
Candidates have to choose one out of four options given in the question paper.
Candidates need to click on the button against the given options to answer the questions.
The chosen answer can be changed by clicking on the button of another option.
To deselect the chosen answer, candidates have to click on the ‘Clear Response’ button.
To save the chosen answer, candidates need to click on the ‘Save and Next’.
Candidates have to click on the ‘Next’ tab to move onto the next question.
If candidates want to answer a question later, they can mark that question by clicking on the ‘Flag’ button.
To unmark the question, candidates need to click on the ‘Remove Flag’ button.
Candidates will find a countdown timer of two hours on the top right hand corner of the screen which will show the available time to complete the test. The exam will be over as soon as the countdown timer reaches zero.
To complete the exam, candidates need to click on the ‘End Exam’ button.

Candidates must meet the DU PG 2021 eligibility criteria to be eligible for attending the entrance exam.
All types of electronic devices like mobile phones, smartwatches, pager and calculators are prohibited in the examination hall/centres.

what is the cutoff of duet btech entrance exam to get admission in btech course
It is difficult to determine the cut off for B.Tech IT & MI. They have a limited number of seats and thus, cut offs are usually high. General eligibility criteria includes:
- General Category & EWS - 60% in any four subjects (including mathematics).
- OBC Category - 54% in any four subjects (including mathematics).
- PH Category - 57% in any four subjects (including mathematics).
- SC/ST Category - Passing marks with Mathematics as one subject.
Along with this, you will have to appear for the entrance examination which is based on Mathematics, Reasoning and Analytic ability.

Preparation of Delhi University Entrance Exam for PG are:-
First you know the DUET Entrance exam syllabus and exam pattern . Divide the topic make chart according to weightage. then collect the study material and read according to chart. Solve the previous year papers and sample paper. That will help you to maintain the time limit and accuracy. this exam conducted on online mode. Exam duration is 2 hours and pattern is multiple choice questions. and there is a negative marking also of +4 and -1. +4 for correct answer and -1 for every incorrect answer. Delhi University Entrance Test is an entrance examination for admission to Undergraduate, post graduate and PhD courses. You have not mentioned the level of courses in which you want to seek admission. Based on the information available in your profile we consider that you want to seek admission for undergraduate courses. Here is the eligibility for UG courses through DUET
- Candidates must have passed Class 12th and must have scored minimum 60% marks in the qualifying examination. Also the candidates must have scored minimum 60% marks in four subjects which includes Mathematics as mandatory subject.
- Candidates must have scored minimum 60% marks in qualifying examination and must have scored at least 60% aggregate marks in four subjects in the qualifying examination.
- Candidates must have 10+2 in any stream (Science, Humanities, and Commerce) from a recognized board. And must have scored minimum 60% in four papers including English, Mathematics and other two subjects from the list of elective subjects as approved by the University of Delhi.
- Candidates must have passed 10+2 with minimum 50% aggregate marks and 50% marks will be determined on the basis of the best of four subjects, which includes one mandatory language with three other elective subjects.
You have mentioned the aggregate percentage that you have scored in 10+2 but the marks scored in best 4 subjects are not mentioned. So please check the eligibility criteria that is given above to determine your eligibility.
