IGNOU 39th Convocation 2026: Eligibility Requirements

Aspirants who have completed their IGNOU courses can attend the IGNOU 39th convocation. Candidates must have passed their term end examinations. Students who have successfully completed their programme of study in the December 2024 and June 2025 Term End Examinations (TEE) are eligible to register for the award of their certificate/degree.

Will IGNOU Degree of 39th Convocation Come Home?

Students have the option to choose whether they want to receive their IGNOU degree at the convocation or get it delivered to their registered address, at the time of registration. If students want to attend the IGNOU convocation 2026 event, they can receive their certificate during the event. Otherwise, the univeristy will send their certificate via postal services to the registered address. Once the parcel is dispatched, students will recive a consignment number which they can use to track the parcel in online mode.

• If you are a first time applicant for this convocation, you will need to register by providing your Enrollment Number, Programme Code, name, email, and mobile number.

• Use your Enrollment Number and create a password to log in.

• Fill in your current and correct address as this is where the certificate will be dispatched if you opt for postal delivery or if you are unable to attend the in-person ceremony.

• Choose whether you wish to attend the IGNOU convocation 2026 in person or receive the certificate by post.

• Complete the online payment of the registration fee. The IGNOU convocation fee can be paid online using Debit/Credit Card (Master/Visa/Rupay) of any bank or Net Banking.

• Non-Attendance/Non-Invitation: In case you submit the IGNOU 39th convocation fee but are not invited to attend or cannot attend the Convocation, your Degree/Diploma/Certificate will be sent by post to the address provided during registration by the concerned Regional Centre after the convocation.

• Regional Centre Changes: If the convocation is not held at the Regional Centre where you are registered, you will be required to attend at a nearby Regional Centre. Alternatively, your certificate will be sent by post.

• Certificate Programmes: Students are advised to contact their respective Regional Centre for obtaining their Degree Certificates, especially for PG Certificate/Certificate Programmes.
