The National Testing Agency (NTA) will be administering the CUET in thirteen languages: Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Gujarati, Odiya, Bengali, Assamese, Punjabi, English, Hindi and Urdu. NTA sets the marking scheme for the CUET UG exam. The students will get 5 marks for each correct response. For every incorrect answer, one mark will be deducted from the total marks. No marks will be deducted for not answering a question in the CUET .

NTA will release the CUET UG city intimation slip 2026 in May on its official website. Candidates who have registered for the CUET PG examination can download the city slip by using their login credentials. The CUET 2026 intimation slip will be made available on its official website and will inform the aspirants in advance about the exam city. The exam city slip of CUET PG 2026 is not required on the exam day. It is worth mentioning that CUET city intimation slip and admit card are not the same.
The admit card of CUET UG 2025 will be issued two to three days before the exam date. Aspirants who have applied for the CUET UG entrance exam will be able to download the hall ticket from the official website. NTA will activate the download link of the CUET admit card once it is released. The CUET UG slip and admit card will be released subsequently on the official website. The candidates are required to carry the CUET UG admit card 2026, along with a government authorised photo ID, to the test centre. The participating universities of CUET UG will release the separate cutoff list after the declaration of result on their official website. The CUET 2026 cutoff will be based on many factors such as difficulty level of exam, number of applicants, available seats and more. Candidates should meet the CUET cutoff to admission to participation universities.
The CUET participating universities will start the counselling process separately after the announcement of the results. The CUET 2025 counselling will be held in online mode. Aspirants who have appeared for the CUET examination will be invited for the counselling process. Applicants have to register for the CUET counselling for UG courses by using their login credentials. Based on the CUET result, the universities will release the cutoff and merit list on their official websites. CUET UG exam is conducted in three slots on different dates, so in order to create a level playing field in terms of difficulty level CUET normalisation procedure is used by NTA.
