NTA sets different eligibility criteria for different subjects. For the Home Science subject, participating colleges set their own criteria. Students must fulfil these CUET eligibility criteria 2025 to be eligible for taking admission in the colleges.
Students must complete their class 12 from a recognised university.
Students must check their age limits.
Students must clear the cut-off marks. These cut-off marks are set by various colleges that offer Home Science subjects.
The full form of CUET is the Common University Entrance Test.

The syllabus of Home Science includes six major topics which are Nutrition, Food Science and Technology, Human Development: Lifespan Approach, Fabric and Apparel, Resource Management

This subject is all about practical knowledge. It depends upon the individuals who opt for this subject.
CUET examination is conducted online. It is a CBT (Computer Based Test) exam. The CUET exam is also conducted through pen and paper mode.
In Home Science the total number of questions asked is 50 in which students have to attempt at least 40 questions to qualify the paper.

But firstly make sure that your drop year should be worth enough in future.it totally depends on you how you are going to spend your coming year.
