Hi Hariom
If you complete your 12th class with PCB subjects from CBSE, and you have passed the mathematics exam through NIOS. Yes, Delhi University accepts the mathematics exam score because NIOS is a recognised board and its certificates are accepted by Delhi University. You are eligible to do an undergraduate program in Mathematics, even if you are a PCB stream student.
I hope this information helps you.
Best Wishes.
Hello,
For DU B.Com (Hons) , you need one language subject plus either:
Maths/Applied Maths + any two academic subjects, or
Accountancy/Bookkeeping + any two academic subjects.
For BHU B.Com (Hons) , you should have Commerce-related subjects in Class 12 like Accountancy, Business Studies, Economics, etc. Maths is not compulsory. You also need to take Accountancy/Bookkeeping, Business Studies, and the General Test in CUET.
Hope it helps !
Hello,
Yes, you can still get admission in some DU courses with 50% in Arts.
For many BA courses, the basic eligibility is around 40–45% , so you meet that.
But getting a seat depends mainly on your CUET score , because DU now takes admissions through CUET.
With 50% in board exams, you can apply, but admission to top colleges or popular BA (Hons) courses may be difficult because their cutoffs are usually higher.
You may get chances in BA Programme or in colleges with lower cutoffs.
Hope it helps !
Hello,
For B.A Pol Science at Delhi University, you should take one language from List A and three domain subjects from Section II, which include Political Science, and at least one core list like History, Economics, or Sociology. The third domain subject can be from the core list or the secondary list.
Hope it helps!!!
Hello,
If you passed 12th without Math's from Maharashtra Board and now plan to take Math's through NIOS ODE, DU will accept it only for courses where Math's is required, provided it’s a valid board exam result.
For courses like BCom (Hons) or BSc, Mathes in 12th is compulsory; for Arts or general B.A., it’s not needed.
So, you’ll be eligible if:
You clear the NIOS Math's exam before admission, and
The course you choose requires or accepts Math's from any recognized board.
Here is the link regarding same:
Hope it helps.
