Tata Institute of Social Sciences has released the TISS registration form for PG courses on May 22 at its official website. Candidates who have appeared for the CUET PG exam can fill and submit the admission form before June 16. The TISS will release a separate TISS application form for UG and PG programmes.
Candidates can refer to the following steps for completing the TISS application form.
Step 1- Visit the official website of TISS 2026, tiss.edu
Step 2- Registration: Candidates have to register online by using a valid email address.
Step 3- Now re-login by using the credentials and fill out the application form for TISS 2026.
Step 4- Upload scanned copies of relevant documents i.e. photograph and signature.
Step 5- Pay the amount of the registration fee for TISS 2026.
Step 6- Now click on the “Submit” button.
Step 7- Take a print of your filled TISS application form for future reference.

(Note: Candidates whose parents’ annual income was below Rs 2.5 lakh (for SC and ST) and 1 lakh (for OBC) are required to remit concessional fees of INR 250 for all courses. They must upload documents related to their association with the reserved category as evidence.
Aspirants can fill up the physical form of TISS 2026.
They are required to fill up all important details as required in the online form.
They should make payments through the SBI bank challan and attach a copy of this challan with the TISS application form.
The application form and the challan should be sent to Assistant Registrar (Academic), Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Deonar Mumbai, 400088 through a speed post.

The candidates need to ask for the TISS 2026 admission form offline from the institute. They need to send a request through a speed post along with the TISS 2026 application fee to TISS Mumbai Campus. This facility is only available for remote areas in Jharkhand, the North-East states, and Jammu & Kashmir. The institute will send the TISS application form 2026 within a week.
Candidates can apply for a maximum of three courses in any one of the two campuses of TISS and other locations.

Candidates’ applications to TISS can be rejected by TISS due to the following reasons:
Incomplete application form
Not completing the fee payment
Submission of the form after the last submission date
Providing wrong information and uploading invalid documents
Candidates are advised to check the TISS eligibility criteria before they start filling the application form. The TISS 2026 application form will be available on the official website along with the prospectus. For some PG courses, there are specific requirements. Candidates who have completed a 3 or 4 years bachelor degree from any recognized university are eligible to apply for TISS admission.
The eligibility criteria of TISS 2026 gives details about the minimum marks required by candidates to apply for the B.A programmes offered by the institute. The eligibility criteria also mention the age limit within which candidates can apply for the examination.
Candidates must have passed their Class 12th in any subject stream from a recognised board.
Candidates who have studied International Baccalaureate Diploma and will be completing Class 12 with clear results declared by June 2026 are also eligible to apply.
Candidates who have appeared for their Class 12th or Intermediate final exams and are awaiting the results are also eligible to apply.
Age Limit: Candidates must be 23 years of age or less at the time of appearing for the Bachelors Admission Test.
a) Candidates should have successfully completed Bachelor's or Master's Degree of minimum of 3 or 4 years duration or its equivalent (under the 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 or 10+2+2+1 year bridge course pattern of study or any other pattern fulfilling the mandatory requirements of 15 years formal education) from a university recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) of India. Some Masters Degree programmes will have additional/specific eligibility requirements. Candidates are advised to refer to programme specific eligibility criteria (given in the table below) for more details and ensure that they satisfy such specific eligibility criteria.
b) Candidates who will successfully complete, in all respects, all the requirements of their final year eligible degree (including all examinations and internships, if applicable) are also eligible to apply.
c) Those candidates who are eligible to apply, but cannot submit the degree certificate and grade/mark sheet at the time of admission are required to submit these by the deadline, failing which their provisional admission will be automatically cancelled without any further reference to the candidate. The onus will be on the candidate to submit the degree/provisional degree and grade/mark sheet by the deadline. No further extension of the date will be allowed under any circumstances.
d) At the time of applying candidates studying in 3-year degree programmes should have passed in all the subjects for the 1st to 4th semesters and candidates studying in 4-year degree programmes should have passed in all the subjects for the 1st to 6th semester.
e) Until a candidate submits their degree certificate and final mark/grade sheet as evidence of having successfully completed the eligibility criteria by the given date, the admission offered will remain provisional.
f) Eligibility, determined on the basis of information provided in the application, will be used for the final selection process. If the information provided by a candidate is found to be incorrect or misleading at any point in time, their candidature/admission will be summarily cancelled. The Institute shall also reserve the right to take any legal action as deemed fit for any such act of misrepresentation or false declaration.

The cutoff marks for TISS are determined by considering various factors, such as the number of applicants, the difficulty level of the exam, and the availability of seats in each programme.
