TISS Admission 2024: Tata Institute of Social Sciences will release the TISS merit list 2024 on June 10, in online mode. The TISS counselling dates are announced to be from June 5 to 11. Candidates can download TISS 2024 merit list by visiting the official website at tiss.edu. The institution has closed the TISS PG registration 2024 on June 3. Students could make corrections to the TISS application form 2024 till June 3. Earlier, the institution had started the TISS PG admission process on April 25 at tiss.edu. Aspirants who have appeared for the CUET PG examination can fill and submit the TISS 2024 PG admission form in online mode. The TISS PG admission is based on the CUET PG score and TISS online assessment.

Tata Institute of Social Sciences has now closed the TISS registration form on its official website. Candidates who have appeared for the CUET examination can fill and submit the admission form before the deadline. The TISS will release a separate TISS application form for UG and PG programmes.

• Step 2- Registration: Candidates have to register online by using a valid email address.

• Step 3- Now re-login by using the credentials and fill out the application form for TISS 2024.

• Step 4- Upload scanned copies of relevant documents i.e. photograph and signature.

• Step 5- Pay the amount of the registration fee for TISS 2024.

• Step 6- Now click on the “Submit” button.

TISS Application Form 2024 - Document Requirements

(Note: Candidates whose parents’ annual income was below Rs 2.5 lakh (for SC and ST) and 1 lakh (for OBC) in the financial year 2020 are required to remit concessional fees of INR 250 for all courses. They must upload documents related to their association with the reserved category as evidence.

• Aspirants can fill up the physical form of TISS 2024.

The candidates need to ask for the TISS 2024 admission form offline from the institute. They need to send a request through a speed post along with the TISS 2024 application fee to TISS Mumbai Campus. This facility is only available for remote areas in Jharkhand, the North-East states, and Jammu & Kashmir. The institute will send the TISS application form 2024 within a week.

• Candidates can apply for a maximum of three courses in any one of the two campuses of TISS and other locations.

• One TISS application form 2024 can be used to apply for multiple courses.

• Candidates should check the eligibility criteria for TISS 2024 for one or more subjects before applying for them. If candidates do not meet the eligibility criteria, their applications will not be considered or rejected.

TISS 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates are advised to check the TISS eligibility criteria before they start filling the application form. The TISS 2024 application form will be available on the official website along with the prospectus. For some PG courses, there are specific requirements. Candidates who have completed a 3 or 4 years bachelor degree from any recognized university are eligible to apply for TISS admission.

TISS 2024 Eligibility Criteria for UG Courses

The eligibility criteria of TISS 2024 gives details about the minimum marks required by candidates to apply for the B.A programmes offered by the institute. The eligibility criteria also mention the age limit within which candidates can apply for the examination.

• Candidates must have passed their Class 12th in any subject stream from a recognised board.

• Candidates who have studied International Baccalaureate Diploma and will be completing Class 12 with clear results declared by June 2021 are also eligible to apply.

• Candidates who have appeared for their Class 12th or Intermediate final exams and are awaiting the results are also eligible to apply.

• Age Limit: Candidates must be 23 years of age or less at the time of appearing for the Bachelors Admission Test, as on May 5, 2022.

TISS 2024 Eligibility Criteria for PG Courses

a) Candidates should have successfully completed Bachelor's or Master's Degree of minimum of 3 or 4 years duration or its equivalent (under the 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 or 10+2+2+1 year bridge course pattern of study or any other pattern fulfilling the mandatory requirements of 15 years formal education) from a university recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) of India. Some Masters Degree programmes will have additional/specific eligibility requirements. Candidates are advised to refer to programme specific eligibility criteria (given in the table below) for more details and ensure that they satisfy such specific eligibility criteria.

b) Candidates who will successfully complete, in all respects, all the requirements of their final year eligible degree (including all examinations and internships, if applicable) by June 13, 2024, are also eligible to apply.

c) Those candidates who are eligible to apply, but cannot submit the degree certificate and grade/mark sheet at the time of admission are required to submit these by August 31, 2024, failing which their provisional admission will be automatically cancelled without any further reference to the candidate. The onus will be on the candidate to submit the degree/provisional degree and grade/mark sheet by August 31, 2024. No further extension of the date will be allowed under any circumstances.

d) At the time of applying candidates studying in 3-year degree programmes should have passed in all the subjects for the 1st to 4th semesters and candidates studying in 4-year degree programmes should have passed in all the subjects for the 1st to 6th semester.

e) Until a candidate submits their degree certificate and final mark/grade sheet as evidence of having successfully completed the eligibility criteria by the given date, the admission offered will remain provisional.

f) Eligibility, determined on the basis of information provided in the application, will be used for the final selection process. If the information provided by a candidate is found to be incorrect or misleading at any point in time, their candidature/admission will be summarily cancelled. The Institute shall also reserve the right to take any legal action as deemed fit for any such act of misrepresentation or false declaration.

TISS 2024 Cut off

The Tata Institute of Social Sciences will release the TISS cutoff on its official website based on the CUET scores. The cutoff marks for TISS are determined by considering various factors, such as the number of applicants, the difficulty level of the exam, and the availability of seats in each programme. Candidates who score above the cutoff marks are eligible for further rounds of the TISS admission process.

TISS Merit List

The selection process of TISS 2024 UG and TISS PG begins with the announcement of the merit list. Those candidates who clear the CUET exam are invited for the document verification round. The institute release the list of candidates who qualify and the candidates who make it to the waiting list are displayed on the website of TISS. Candidates can check this information by logging in with their registration number and password. The qualified candidates are called for documents verification at the different campuses they applied for.
