Percentile scores help in evaluating and ranking candidates based on their relative performance, making it easier for CUET universities and institutions to make admission decisions. CUET percentile scores are particularly useful in standardised exams with a large number of test-takers. The CUET 2025 percentile provide a standardised measure that allows comparison of individual performances within the context of the entire candidate pool.
The percentile score in CUET is a relative score that shows how well the candidate has done compared to the candidates who have taken the same or similar sessions of the exam. The CUET percentile is calculated using a method provided by the NTA.
To calculate the CUET 2025 percentile, you will need the following information:
Raw Score: Your raw score is the actual score you obtained in the CUET 2025 exam.
Total Number of Test Takers: You need to know the total number of candidates who appeared for the CUET 2025 exam.
Candidates can use the below formula to convert raw score into percentile with the percentile calculator CUET:
CUET percentile calculator = (Number of candidates who scored equal to or lower than your raw score / Total number of test takers) * 100
CUET Marks Range | Percentile |
200 - 188 | 100 |
187 - 170 | 99 |
169 - 150 | 98 - 97 |
149 - 130 | 96 - 95 |

89 - 80 | 89 - 84 |
79 - 70 | 83 - 80 |
69 - 60 | 79 - 75 |
59 - 50 | 74 - 70 |
49 - 40 | 69 - 55 |
39 - 20 | 54 - 30 |
Students are advised to check the difference between CUET scores and percentile below:
The National Testing Agency uses a normalisation process to calculate the CUET score of the candidates. The CUET will be conducted in multiple shifts and sessions. This process is used to compare the scores of candidates who took the CUET exam in different sessions or shifts. The normalisation process is used to ensure that all candidates have an equal chance of being admitted to a college, regardless of the session or shift in which they took the CUET exam. Students must know the CUET marking scheme to calculate their score. The CUET raw scores are then normalised by converting them to a percentile. The CUET percentile is a measure of how a candidate's score compares to the scores of other candidates who took the same exam.
The willing candidates may follow the table to convert their CUET raw score into the normalised ones. Students may assume this data to predict their normalised scores.

Step 1: Determine the number of candidates who scored equal to or lower than your raw score.
Step 2: Calculate the percentile out of 800 by dividing the number of candidates who scored equal to or lower than your raw score by the total number of test takers and then multiplying the CUET result by 100.
Percentile = (Number of candidates who scored equal to or lower than your raw score / Total number of test takers) * 100
Here are some of the key differences between CUET marks and percentiles:
The CUET mark is the raw score one gets for each subject. While the CUET 2025 percentile is the normalised marks of the individual.
Students can calculate their marks simply by matching their CUET response sheet with the answer key. Percentile is calculated by dividing the number of candidates who scored equal to or lower than a particular score by the total number of candidates who took the exam to know CUET mark vs rank.
Percentile is generally considered to be a more accurate measure of a candidate's performance because it takes into account the difficulty of the exam and the number of candidates who took it.

BSc is a future oriented course which emphasis on research as well as teaching oriented degree It gives you a depth on that subject But it depends on your future what you want to do. Btech is industry based course and Bsc is a research based academic degree and NEET is a entry level of professional course If you have enough courage to take a drop and crack any entrance of Engineering or neet for good colleges then you can drop a year. But firstly make sure that your drop year should be worth enough in future.it totally depends on you how you are going to spend your coming year.
If you are not sure about any of these courses and want to take admission this year go for bachelor in science in private universities as they still open their admission process.
