The candidates will get one mark for every correct answer and one mark will be deducted for every incorrect response. Candidates can refer to this marking scheme to calculate the marks they can obtain in the CUET 2025 entrance exam. They need to determine the correct and incorrect responses they have made and calculate the CUET marks accordingly. No marks will be deducted if the candidates do not respond to the questions.
CUET 2025 score calculation formula | Total marks = (5*number of correct answers) - (1*number of incorrect answers) |
Step 1: Log in to the CUET UG official portal at cuet.nta.nic.in.
Step 2: Download the CUET UG answer key and CUET response sheet.
Step 3: Determine the number of questions to be attempted in the exam.
Step 4: Use the CUET answer key to calculate the total number of right and wrong answers.
Step 5: Calculate the score by using the CUET marking system.

Candidates appearing for the CUET UG 2025 exam are advised to appear for the number of subjects applied by the candidate, to meet the maximum total marks of the CUET exam 2025.
CUET total marks per subject = 250.
The NTA conducted the CUET UG 2025 exam for a total of 1250 marks. The subject-wise list of CUET UG total marks 2025 is listed below.
CUET Total Marks for 3 Subjects - the total marks of each individual subject is 250 marks and if candidates choose three subjects it will be 750. For every correct answer, 5 marks will be given.
CUET Total Marks for 4 Subjects - The CUET UG total marks for four subjects is 1000.
CUET Total Marks for 5 Subjects - The CUET UG total marks for five subjects is 1250.
