However, it depends on your priority of preparation and subject compatibility. It's not time that matters, but how to plan things in the right direction will suffice for the process. You have to plan things for intensive and extensive study schedules.
Current Affairs plays a very important role in scoring better. The important topics in this section are Appointments, Awards, Government Schemes, Military Exercises, Environmental updates, etc. You have to make small sticky notes to recall easily. Infographics will also ease the process.
Newspapers are important preparatory resources; they help to increase Reading speed as well as understanding of English Grammar and Usage. It helps to learn multiple types of words. You need to keep a diary and note down difficult words so that they help you with further reading. Similarly, it is a boon for General knowledge as well as current Affairs as it gives relevant information regarding different National as well as international issues.
But the main issue is that doing so consumes a lot of time. So the selection of newspapers like The Hindu and The Indian Express is preferred. Editorial, National and international pages are only suggested to read. Note-making is also helpful for recalling current affairs updates.
These recommendations of books are for reference. It is always suggested to plan things depending on your compatibility with the subject. One book per section is preferred. It is not the number of books that should be considered; however, qualitative reading and making use of books will address the concern. It's highly recommended to go for Practice. The nature of the question pattern is jumbled. An aspirant needs to be adaptive and the Dynamics of question types. So, Regular Practice is the key to excelling in less time.
CUET General Test is moderately tough and primarily evaluates logical reasoning, numerical ability, general knowledge, and current affairs. With proper preparation and regular practice, it can be done by most students.

Ideally, start 8-10 months before the exam (around August-September for the May exam). Minimum 4-6 months of dedicated preparation is recommended for good results.
Take at least 2-3 mock tests per week in the last 2 months. A total of 50-60 mock tests is ideal for comprehensive preparation and pattern familiarity.
Current Affairs carries significant weightage (approximately 20-25% of the General Test). Daily reading of newspapers, monthly magazines, and yearly compilations is essential.

Hello,
Delhi University (DU) offers various engineering courses under its Department of Technology.
Admission to these courses is primarily based on the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main scores. However, some courses may also consider CUET (Common University Entrance Test) scores for admission.
The exact number of seats filled through CUET scores can vary each year and are not publicly disclosed.
Hope it helps !
Admissions for CUET aren't solely based on 2 Non-Med Percentage along with JEE Mains percentile. The eligibility criteria for CUET require students to have scored at least 50% marks in their Class 12th exam for general candidates and 45% for reserved categories.
Additionally, CUET has its own exam pattern, which includes multiple-choice questions divided into three sections:
- Section 1: Language proficiency(English/Hindi/regional languages)
- Section 2: Domain-specific subjects
- Section 3: General Aptitude
It's also important to note that while JEE Mains is a separate entrance exam, some universities may consider both CUET and JEE Mains scores for admission to certain programs. However, the specific admission criteria may vary depending on the university and course.
To confirm the admission criteria for your desired course, I recommend checking the official websites of the participating universities or contacting them directly.
Yes, if the CUET UG application form does not ask for the 10th marksheet upload and only requires a photograph and signature, your application should still be considered valid. Since you are currently appearing for the 12th exams, the system may not require additional documents at this stage. However, double-check the official guidelines or contact CUET support to confirm.
