Current Affairs plays a very important role in scoring better. The important topics in this section are Appointments, Awards, Government Schemes, Military Exercises, Environmental updates, etc. You have to make small sticky notes to recall easily. Infographics will also ease the process.
3. Is it relevant to read newspapers regularly for better preparation for CUET General Tests 2026?
Newspapers are important preparatory resources; they help to increase Reading speed as well as understanding of English Grammar and Usage. It helps to learn multiple types of words. Admissions for CUET aren't solely based on 2 Non-Med Percentage along with JEE Mains percentile. The eligibility criteria for CUET require students to have scored at least 50% marks in their Class 12th exam for general candidates and 45% for reserved categories.
