Any exam needs dedicated preparation to score well. On the same note, the following are a few tips to prepare for CUET exams.
First and foremost, the student should be well aware of the exam pattern, time duration and number of questions to be attempted for a safer score and must be cautious of negative markings.
The student should know the syllabus of the domain-specific subjects, like which chapters are important, where they can score well, as well as their strengths and weaknesses. For eg. In Biology, important topics included Human Health & Disease, Evolution, the Molecular basis of inheritance, Inheritance & Variation, Reproductive Health, Human Reproduction, Sexual Reproduction in Flowering Plants, and Reproduction in Organism, Environmental Issues, Biotechnology & its applications.
In Accounting, questions can come from topics Financial Statement Analysis, Partnership Firm Dissolution, Fundamentals of Accounting, Cash Flow, Goodwill Valuation Methods, Profits Sharing Ratio Changes, Partner Admission, Retirement, Death, Share and Debenture Issuance and Redemption, and Company Final Accounts.
One of the most crucial things to do while preparing is to give mock tests. Mock tests help to know your knowledge level, helping in identifying your strengths and weaknesses. It also helps you to understand and manage time during actual examinations.
Limit your resources and read, repeat and revise what you have learned so far.
You can get help from various online platforms to further improve your domain knowledge.
Since the CUET exams have recently commenced, there are only a few PYQs so it becomes even more difficult to assess the chapter-wise marking scheme. Therefore students should see platforms that provide online mock questions that are curated as per the standards of the CUET examination.
Based on last year's examination pattern, it is observed that CUET exams are more focused on NCERTs. Thus students must keep themselves thorough with the NCERTs and build a comprehensive understanding of the same. They can also take the help of CUET MCQ books.
For domain-specific content, students can refer to Practice sets on Class exams - by Oswaal, R.S. Aggarwal Books for Science subjects, T.S. Grewal Books for Commerce and NCERT Exemplar.
Online tutors are available to help students clear doubts and understand difficult topics. YouTube is one of the free-of-cost sources where students can find multiple tutors and learn at their own pace.
For the General Aptitude test of the CUET exam, students can refer to Quantitative Aptitude by R.S. Aggarwal, and practice quizzes on various online platforms. They can also see Arihant’s Fast Track Objective Arithmetic and Logical Reasoning Books to enhance their reasoning skills and General Mental Ability.
Emphasizing the importance of thorough preparation, mock tests emerge as indispensable aids in this journey. They simulate exam conditions, enabling students to gauge their readiness, identify areas for improvement, and build confidence for success in the actual CUET examination.
CUET Mocks test helps students to have a better understanding of the CUET exam pattern and comprehend and prepare important chapters and topics.
Giving mocks also helps students figure out the types of questions that can come in the CUET examination and how to approach them.
Apart from domain-specific questions, students should also practice MCQs for General Aptitude and Language papers to increase their speed and accuracy.
Since, there are only a few PYQs available for CUET examinations, giving mocks becomes undoubtedly crucial. Practicing more questions is directly proportional to fewer incorrect and unanswered questions.

BSc is a future oriented course which emphasis on research as well as teaching oriented degree It gives you a depth on that subject But it depends on your future what you want to do. Btech is industry based course and Bsc is a research based academic degree and NEET is a entry level of professional course If you have enough courage to take a drop and crack any entrance of Engineering or neet for good colleges then you can drop a year. But firstly make sure that your drop year should be worth enough in future.it totally depends on you how you are going to spend your coming year.
If you are not sure about any of these courses and want to take admission this year go for bachelor in science in private universities as they still open their admission process.
