JAM Admission List 2020 - Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur will release the first JAM 2020 admission list on June 1, 2020. The second and third admission list of IIT JAM 2020 will be released on June 16 and June 29, 2020 respectively. Candidates who will fill the admission form before April 22, 2020 can check their names in IIT JAM admission list 2020. To check the admission list of JAM 2020, candidates need to visit the JOAPS (JAM online application processing system) portal and enter their login credentials. Candidates are offered seats based on their preferences filled in the admission form and rank in entrance examination of JAM. After the release of the third and final JAM admission list 2020, candidates will be provided a final offer letter for admission. How to check JAM 2020 Admission List

  • Visit the official website of JOAPS.

  • A new login window will appear where candidates need to enter their login credentials.

  • Enter the enrolment ID/ Email ID and Password.

  • Evaluate the arithmetic expression and enter the result.

  • Click on “submit”.

  • The admission list of JAM 2020 will appear.

JAM 2020 Admission List – Key Points

  • The admission form of JAM 2020 will be available from April 3 to April 22, 2020 in online mode.

  • Candidates belonging to EWS or OBC NCL category need to upload valid certificate in the prescribed format. Candidates who will not be able to do so will be considered in the general category.

  • Based on the preferences filled in the admission form and rank in the merit list, the first admission list of JAM 2020 will be released on June 1, 2020.

  • Candidates whose names are mentioned in the first JAM admission list 2020, they are required to log in to their accounts and choose from the three options – Accept and Freeze, Reject and Quit and Accept with Upgrade.

  • If candidates wish to either Accept and freeze or Accept with Upgrade, they need to pay the Seat booking fee in the online mode by credit card, debit card or net banking.

  • Candidates who do not wish to take an admission can select the ‘Reject and Quit’ option wherein they will receive an OPT (One Time Password) on their registered mobile number.

  • If a candidate is offered a seat but wishes to cancel the admission can do so by choosing the ‘Withdraw’ option.

  • Candidates whose names do not feature in the First JAM Admission List 2020 could pay the ‘Seat Booking fee’ if they choose among ‘Accept and Freeze’ and ‘Accept with Upgrade’ options.

  • JAM second admission list 2020 will be released on June 16, 2020 if the seats remain vacant after first admission process is over.

  • Candidates whose names will be mentioned in the second admission list but not in the first list need to submit their acceptance form along with the advance seat booking fee through JOAPS.

  • The organizing institute will release the third and final admission list of JAM 2020 on June 29, 2020.

  • Candidates whose names will not be considered in the first two admission list and will be mentioned in the third IIT JAM admission list 2020 need to submit the acceptance form and pay the advance seat booking fee.

  • The admission process of JAM 2020 will be closed after the release of the third and final admission list.

the iits offered msc in chemistry is TB, IITD, IITGN, IITG, IITH, IITI, IITK, IITM, IITR. the eligibility criteria is Bachelor's degree with Chemistry for three years or six semesters and Mathematics at the (10+2) level. so you are not eligible.


I am now going to prepare for IIT jam physics. But I dont know where to start. which is easy to start? and where to get study materials?

The first step is to prepare a time table keeping in mind all the units and topics. Solving JAM 2020 physics sample papers will give you the necessary experience and confidence they will need on the day of the exam.You can also make small notes or  flashcards of important points and write down whatever feels hard to understand.
