The conducting body of Centralized Counselling for M.Sc / M.Sc Tech admissions, SVNIT Surat will release the seat matrix of CCMN 2024 participating institutes at the time of registration.
Candidates who wish to take admission to M.Sc programmes offered at NIT’s and CFTI must check the list of all CCMN participating institutes along with the total number of seats and programmes offered.
The participating institutes of CCMN will offer seats to the candidates through the online counselling process known as Centralized Counselling for MSc/MSc (Tech) Admission through the help of JAM 2024 score.
A total of three seat allotments will be released for the allocation of seats in CCMN participating institutes.
Candidates must make sure to choose the maximum number of CCMN participating institutes 2024 while filling the application form.
Candidates who have not applied to the CCMN can be considered for admission to any of the participating institutes, should there be any available seats, through the special round of CCMN.
Around 20 NITs and 2 CFTIs will provide admissions in MSc programmes through CCMN 2024.
The CCMN counselling process was started on May 24, 2024.
Centralized Counselling for MSc/MTech Admission or CCMN is a counselling process that uses IIT JAM scores to offer admission in MSc programmes at NITs and 2CFTIs.
The seat acceptance fee for those in the general category for CCMN 2024 is INR 15000, while those belonging to the SC/ST/PwD category have a fee of Rs 10000.
Candidates who are in their final year of their undergraduate degree programme are eligible to apply for CCMN 2024 and have successfully qualified for JAM 2024.
A total of six rounds will take place, consisting of three regular rounds, two special rounds, and one NSR round.

Admission in MSC bioinformatics program at an IIT is through the Joint Admission Test for Masters (JAM). JAM is a nationwide entrance exam that's held annually for admission to post-graduate science programs at various institutions in India.
