All DU UG admission 2026 will be offered based on scores of CUET UG exam. However, CUET UG marks are not required for DU SOL, NCWEB admission, as well as for foreign nationals. It remains mandatory for candidates to appear in CUET subjects that they have either passed or are appearing for in Class 12. If a Class XII subject is not listed in CUET, candidates must choose the closest related subject. The University requires at least 50% syllabus overlap to establish similarity in CUET UG 2026.

Single Girl Child (SGC): One seat per undergraduate programme in every college is reserved for a single girl child. An affidavit from a competent authority (e.g., District Magistrate) is required for verification.
Orphans Quota (OQ): This is listed as an available supernumerary category for the 2026-27 session.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
For regular students, DU UG admission 2026 is strictly based on CUET UG marks. However, students applying for DU SOL, NCWEB will be admitted based on their Class 12 marks.
Students are required to choose their CUET subjects which they had already studied in Class 12. From this year, the University of Delhi will allow CUET subjects which has at least 50% similarities to the subjects candidates studied during Class 12.

Candidates applying under ECA or sports quota in Delhi University, their final merit list is prepared based on 25% marks secured in CUET UG exam and 75% marks from certificate, and trails.
