DU Third Merit List 2025: The University of Delhi will release the DU 2025 third merit list in August at admission.uod.ac.in. Candidates can check the DU 3rd merit list 2025 by visiting the official website of Delhi University. The university will release the DU 2025 merit list in three rounds. The Delhi University will release DU 2025 third merit list in August on the official website of DU - ugadmission.uod.ac.in. The DU merit list 2025 for round 3 will be available on the websites of respective colleges. Candidates can follow the steps mentioned below to download the DU third merit list through the DU website.
Step 1 - Visit the official website of Delhi University - du.ac.in, or the DU UG admission 2025 portal - ugadmission.uod.ac.in.
Step 2 - Check the ‘Latest Notification’ section on the home page.
Step 3 - Click on the ‘DU Third Merit List 2025’ link.
Step 4 - The college-wise DU 3rd merit list will appear on the screens.
Step 5 - Now, check using the CUET application number or name.
Step 6 - Save the merit list for future reference.

As the DU merit list 2025 3rd is released, candidates are required to accept the allotted seat. The seat acceptance date is announced in online mode.
To accept the DU seat, candidates have to log in to the CSAS portal through their CUET application number and password and then proceed to the seat acceptance.
If a candidate fails to accept the seat, then the application will be cancelled.
After this, colleges will verify the DU eligibility and documents uploaded by the candidate. The date for online approval of the application by the college will be announced soon.
Once the seat is approved by the DU college, candidates have to make the payment of the DU admission fee before the deadline.

Programme-specific merit scores will be calculated by the university according to eligibility criteria, and candidates must confirm their scores before making preferences. The candidate must select as many Programs he/she wishes to and it is in the best interest of the candidate to choose maximum Programs and Program + College Combinations Delhi University will calculate the DU merit list on the basis of three lists - List A, list B1 or B2.
For example: Candidate A and B CUET are like this :
From the above image, these candidates have chosen these subjects in their CUET exam 2025. Now, let's say they want to apply in B.A Political Science, according to DU eligibility criteria they must have anyone language from List A + Any three subjects from List B1, or Any two languages from List A + Any two languages from List B, hence subjects for candidate A is Hindi, Chemistry, Physics, Biology, and for candidate B the subjects is English, Physical Education, History, Sociology. Now candidates can add the CUET normalised score of each subject.
Eg- Candidates best of four is 700 out of 800. Now according to the DU merit list, candidates can apply according to their desired college by visiting the online portal.
If the seats remain vacant after DU third merit list 2025, Delhi University will announce the spot admission round in online mode. Candidates who applied for DU UG admission 2025, but were not admitted to any college can participate in DU spot admissions. The seat allocations in the DU spot round will be done on the basis of the following criteria:
1. Availability of seats
2. Program-Specific merit
3. Order of Preference of College
4. Category.
5. Any other allocation rules, policies
To apply for DU spot admission, candidates need to visit the DU CSAS candidate’s portal and select the ‘Spot Admission’ option available on the dashboard.
The university will display the list of vacant seats in each programme during the spot admission. Candidates will have to select only one programme.
There will be no option for 'Upgrade' and 'Withdraw' during the Spot Admission rounds.
It is mandatory for the candidate to take admission to the allocated seat in the Spot round.
