DU Seat Allotment 2024 - University of Delhi will release the DU seat allotment 2024 for mop up round 2 on October 16 in online mode. Students can accept the DU mop up round seats till October 18. Earlier, the university had released the DU UG 2024 seat allotment for mop-up round on October 3. Candidates can check the DU seat allotment 2024 by visiting the official website. The DU 2024 spot round 1 seat allotment released on September 21. Applicants could accept the allotted seat from September 21 to 22. Delhi University released the DU 2024 vacant seats for spot round 1 on September 18, on its official website.
The DU UG second allotment 2024 was released on August 25. Candidates can check the DU UG 2024 2nd allotment by visiting the official website at ugadmission.uod.ac.in. A total of 24, 869 new allocations were made in DU phase 2 seat allotment 2024. Through DU CSAS portal, 27,554 students have received higher preference by upgrading their preference. The DU seat allotment 2024 is based on the CUET results. Students should meet the CUET UG cut off of Delhi University to qualify for admissions. The Delhi University will conduct the DU seat allotment process in three stages.
The name of the applicant requesting reservation must match the name on their relevant School Board qualifying certificates. Similarly, the names on the certificates must be identical. No undertaking will be accepted on behalf of incomplete/ invalid/ unavailability of the document/ certificate at the time of applying to CSAS 2024.

The Delhi University will release the DU mop up round 2 seat allotment 2024 on October 16. The university released the DU UG 2024 seat allotment for mop-up round on October 3. Delhi Candidates are advised to visit Delhi University - Common Seat Allocation System (DU-CSAS) portal to download the DU allotment list by using their login credentials. Students need to visit the official DU-CSAS portal, ugadmission.uod.ac.in.
On the Homepage, you need to log in using your CUET 2024 username and password.
DU seat allotment will be displayed.
Search through using your “Application number” or “name”. Use “ctrl+f” for Windows or “command+f” for mac (shortcut for search).
Click download or “ctrl+P” to save the allotment list.
The Delhi University releases the DU 2024 seat allotment in three phases. If any seats are available, there will be a spot round DU, and then new rounds will be conducted. CUET exam results 2024, available seats, preferences etc contribute heavily to the DU seat distribution 2024.
Following the publication of the result of DU 2024 seat allotment, candidates have the choice to either accept or reject their assigned seat. Those who have been allotted a seat are advised to follow these steps below:
It is compulsory for students who have accepted their allocated seat, to download DU allocation letter 2024 by entering their date of birth, roll number and security pin
Allocation letters, papers and certificates need to be verified at the authorised centres for the completion of DU admission 2024.
DU admission procedure 2024 lasts about two to three days after DU seat allotment 2024. It is advisable to report to your allocated institution as soon as the DU 2024 allocation list is released.
Candidates need to prove their medical fitness through a medical examination.
After admission is approved, the allocated college sends the candidate's information to the authorities, and the admission letter is sent to the candidate based on these facts.
A free exit will be provided to the students who did not accept their seats after the first round of DU 2024 seat allotment. However, a deduction in refundable payment will be implied if the student does not accept the seat after the second of counselling.
If a candidate is not assigned a seat and chooses to participate in the following rounds of DU seat allocation, they must select one of the options. Such candidates will also be required to give new college preferences for subsequent rounds of DU 2024 seat allocation. This option, however, will be unavailable after the second session of therapy.
Once the DU seat allotment is released, the following are the steps to be followed by the candidates.

The institution calculates program-specific merit scores based on eligibility requirements, and candidates must validate their scores before expressing choices. Candidates should choose as many programmes as feasible, and it is in their best interests to do so. The DU merit list is based on one of three lists: List A, List B1, or List B2.

Weightage for Minority Colleges: St. Stephen’s College and Jesus & Mary College and few other minority colleges usually give 85% weightage to CUET scores 2024, the rest 15% is decided by the colleges.
Seat Allotment Rounds: There will be three rounds, followed by a DU admission spot round if any vacant seat remains. Those seats will be allotted through normal counselling procedures.
Criteria for Seat Allotment: Factors like marks obtained in CUET 2024 exam, available seats, preferences etc play a crucial role in DU 2024 seat allocation.
