DU Third Cutoff 2019: The Delhi University affiliated colleges had released DU 2019 third cutoff list on July 8 in online mode. All the 90 affiliated colleges of DU had released the third cut off of DU 2019 individually on their respective official websites. DU, later on, released the consolidated DU third cut off 2019 at du.ac.in. The 3rd cutoff of DU 2019 was released in the form of pdf. The DU 2019 third cut off was made based on the number of vacant seats left in each of the UG programmes after the conclusion of the second round admissions. Candidates, who had met the minimum cut off percentage presented in DU 3rd cutoff 2019, had to complete their admission formalities at their allotted colleges from July 9 to July 11, 2019.

Admission Process after DU Third cutoff is released

Once the DU third admission cutoff list 2019 is announced, candidates must follow the given steps to complete their admission formalities at the respective allotted colleges.

Step 1: Candidates should use the DU third cutoff 2019list of DU to know if they satisfy the cut-off of the programmes and colleges where they wish to take admissions. If they are eligible, they should log in to the admission portal and select the appropriate course and college to generate the application form required for University of Delhi admission 2019.

Step 2: Candidates must report to the allotted college and share their unique registration ID with the Teacher In-charge of the respective department in the college and produce their original documents for verification, along with a print of their registration form. The following documents have to be submitted during the document verification process.

  • Class X mark sheet (High School)

  • Class X Board Examination Certificate (High School)

  • Class XII mark sheet (Senior Secondary)

  • Class XII provisional certificate/ original certificate (Senior Secondary)

  • Conduct certificate

  • Category (SC/ST/PWD/CW/KM) certificate (If applicable)

  • OBC (non- creamy layer) certificate (If applicable)

  • Migration certificate from

  • Transfer certificates

  • Two passport size self-attested photographs

Step 3: After the document verification process is completed, candidates must log in again to the admission portal and pay the admission fee online using the payment options available. Step 4: In case the candidate wishes to cancel the admission the following steps must be followed

  • Cancel the admission online, and pay the requisite Admission Cancellation/withdrawal fee.

  • Print of receipt of the cancellation fee and submit it to the college where they were admitted and withdraw the original certificates.

  • After this follow steps 1 to 3, for taking admission in another course-college to complete the admission. In this subsequent admission, the candidate will pay only the balance fee of the new college in which he is taking admission. In case any extra amount is paid by the candidate it will be refunded after the last date of admission to the bank account of the candidate.


Factors Affecting DU Third Cutoff 2019

While preparing the DU 2019 Third cutoff list the following factors will be considered.

  • Best of Four Subjects – The aggregate of the highest marks in any four subjects of the qualifying Class 12th board examination.

  • Number of Seats – The total number of seats offered in the colleges for the programme opted for by candidates.

  • Number of Applicants – The total number of applications received for the programme.

  • Programme – The undergraduate programme for which the candidate has applied.

  • Cutoff Trend – The DU 2019 cutoff trend for the programmes over the years.

  • The third cutoff of DU 2019 had been released in online mode by all the 90 DU affiliated colleges. The DU third cut off 2019 had been made based on the availability of the vacant seats.

  • Candidates who qualified the DU third cutoff 2019 for different UG programmes had to attend the document verification process and claim their admissions.

Hello dear aspirant.

You have not clearly mentioned whether for UG or PG and which course you are interested in.

As of now admission in DU is on merit list basis first you should know past years cutoff and then prepare hard and score good marks in board exams so that you can easily get a seat in DU .

If I want to get admission in BSC honours in mathematics in Delhi University on the basis of percentage scored in class 12th , then what all subjects can I register for the calculation of percentage to be written in Merit list ? Can I register with Mathematics, computer and chemistry ?

Hello Anurag, Yes these three subjects are fine but you need to add one more subject in order to complete the best of four percentage. The rule is that you need one subject related to the course you are applying for, one language course(most of the students have english) and other two courses you can select as any two subjects with maximum marks.

Hello Anurag, No, you can't get admission in BTech course only on the basis of 12th class marks. Giving the entrance test is compulsory. Giving entrance test is compulsory for the following courses:
