To determine the Delhi University 2026 3rd cutoff the following factors have been taken into consideration.

Number of Applicants – The total number of applications received for the UG programme.

Number of Seats – The total number of seats offered in the colleges for the particular programme opted.

CUET 2026 scores – The marks obtained by candidates in the CUET entrance exam 2026.

Cutoff Trend – The cutoff trend for the programmes over the years

Programme – The programme for which the candidate has applied.

Delhi University Admission Process after DU 3rd Cut-Off 2026

The detailed admission process to be followed after the release of the third cutoff of DU 2026 is given here. Applicants who meet the DU 2026 third cutoff can check the admission process here.

Step 1 - Candidates have to check DU 2026 cut off 3rd round whether they satisfy the cut-off requirements of the programme and college where they wish to enrol. To generate the DU Admission application form, they must log into the admission portal and select the appropriate course and college.

Step 2 - Submit the following documents for the document verification process

• Class 10 (High School) Board Examination Certificate

• Class 10 (High School) mark sheet

• Class 12 (Senior Secondary) mark sheet

• Class 12 (Senior Secondary) provisional certificate/ original certificate

• Conduct certificate

• Category (SC/ST/PwD/CW/KM) certificate

• OBC (non- creamy layer) certificate

• Transfer certificates

• Migration certificate

• Two passport size self-attested photographs

Step 3 - After completing the document verification process, candidates must log in again to the admission portal and pay the admission fee online using the link available on the portal. Once the fee is paid successfully, the admission process to that particular college is complete.

Step 4 - In case the candidate wants to cancel the admission, the following steps must be followed

• Cancel the admission online, and pay the requisite admission Cancellation/withdrawal fee.

• Print of receipt of the cancellation fee and submit the same to the college where they were admitted and withdraw his/her original certificates.

• Follow steps 1 to 3, for taking admission in another course-college to complete the admission. In this subsequent admission, the candidate will pay only the balance fee of the new college in which he is taking admission. In case any extra amount is paid by the candidate it will be refunded after the last date of admission to the bank account of the candidate.

DU Third Cut Off 2026 - Important Points

• The allocations in the third round will be based on the data of the candidates available on the DU CSAS portal. Meaning that the cutoffs and ranks of the third round will not be influenced by the previous round criteria.

• The third cut-off of Delhi University 2026 will be released in August containing the marks for all the programmes offered by the different colleges.

• The Delhi University 2026 third cutoff will be released online for all B.A, B.Com, and B.Sc programmes offered by the 64 colleges of the University of Delhi.

• Reserved categories will have a different DU cutoff. Delhi University cut-off lists will be released based on the number of vacant seats available after each Cutoff is released.

• When Delhi University's cutoffs are released, qualified candidates must attend the document verification process and pay the admission fee online.

• Candidates need to pay the admission fee through the Delhi University admission portal after they have completed the document verification process at their respective departments.
