The DU UG Round 2 Economics cutoffs for 2026 remained high for top colleges, although the trend varied across programmes when compared with the minimum cutoffs of 2025. Hindu College's B.A. Programme (English + Economics) increased from 894.51 in 2025 to 907.68 in Round 2 of 2026. Similarly, Lady Shri Ram College for Women's B.A. Programme (Economics + Political Science) rose from 897.20 to 905.70, while Miranda House's B.A. Programme (Economics + Political Science) increased from 885.54 to 904.16.

On the other hand, some programmes recorded lower cutoffs this year. SRCC's B.A. (Hons.) Economics dropped from 908.90 in 2025 to 892.56 in 2026, St. Stephen's College's B.A. (Hons.) Economics declined from 904.62 to 885.77, and Hindu College's B.A. (Hons.) Economics fell from 888.17 to 877.84. Overall, while several popular Economics programmes became more competitive, a few courses saw lower cutoffs in DU UG 2026 round 2 cutoff.

Miranda House was another top choice for Economics aspirants, as its B.A. Programme (Economics + Political Science) closed at 904.16 marks. Candidates seeking admission to Economics courses needed a very high CUET score.
Among the colleges listed, Indraprastha College for Women recorded the lowest cutoff, with its B.A. Programme (Economics + Mathematics) closing at 757.04 marks in DU UG Round 2 admissions 2026. Jesus & Mary College (W) followed with a cutoff of 764.19 marks for the B.A. Programme (Economics + Mathematics). Shaheed Bhagat Singh College recorded a cutoff of 766.11 marks for B.A. (Hons.) Economics. Although these were the lowest cutoffs in the list, candidates still needed a strong CUET score to secure admission, showing that Economics programmes remain highly competitive across Delhi University. Compared to previous years, these programmes saw a noticeable decline in cutoff scores, making them more accessible to many students.
