With the DU UG commerce cutoff 2026 release, many students have noticed that cutoff marks have gone up significantly as compared to previous year. For example, SRCC BCom hons cutoff has jumped from 917.43 to 924.30, Hindu College BCom cutoff has jumped from 912.22 to 919.87. These numbers may not seem that big of an increment, but considering these are the top range of CUET marks, even an increase of 2 marks eliminates a large number of students.

There are only instances where any DU BCom cutoff 2026 for north campus colleges have decreased, Daulat Ram College (W) and Indraprastha College for Women (W). Colleges where we see a decrease in DU BCOm cutoff are mostly DU south campus colleges like Gargi College (W), Delhi College of Arts and Commerce (DCAC), Jesus & Mary College (W), Maitreyi College (W), and Kamala Nehru College (W); and off campus colleges like Shaheed Bhagat Singh College, Dyal Singh College, and College of Vocational Studies (CVS). In case you are planning to take admission in BCom courses at colleges like SRCC, Hindu, Hansraj, or LSR, there are some concerns you need to be aware of. Typically, seats at these top DU colleges are filled almost to 95% capacity after the round 1 itself. Any updates from DU CSAS round 2 onwards are very little, cutoff marks are barely dropped tp 0.5 to 1.5 marks at max.
As compared to north campus colleges, the DU south campus colleges like Gargi College, Jesus and Mary, Sri Venkateswara College offer a slightly better breathing room for students. These colleges often show a drop of 4 to 8.5 cutoff marks from round 2 onwards, making it a good option for students who have missed opportunities at north campus colleges. DU BCom cutoff at south campus colleges may drop down even 3 to 5 more points, based on the seat availability.

DU Off campus colleges like Dyal Singh College or CVS College often observes a huge drop in cutoff requirements as more rounds of counselling play out. Some of the DU off campus colleges cutoff even go as low as two digits.
