The Delhi University CSAS admission process is turned into frustration for students and parents. After the release of allotments by the Delhi University, several students allotment status has gone missing on their dashboards due to technical glitches in the DU CSAS portal. The university announced the DU mid entry allocations on August 8. However, several students did not get any allocation for atleast 4 to 5 hours. For the students who received allocation in mid entry round found that their allotments were removed from their dashboards after sometime.

Another issue which was raised by some students was the delay of seat allocations for Sports, ECA and CW quota also faced issues. Earlier, the DU allotment for CW, sports and ECA was scheduled to be released on August 9. The university has delayed the release of the allotments and announced a revised schedule for the same. According to the revised schedule, the DU allotments were released on August 10. However, many students have not been allotted any seat on their dashboards. Several candidates have taken this issue into social media platforms and are questioning the functionality of the university’s admission process.
Several candidates have faced various technical challenges with the DU CSAS portal over the past 2 days. Students left with no response from the university officials took this matter into social media platforms like Reddit, Youtube and more.
A user on reddit shared that he received his DU sports allocation on the morning of August 10 and now it is showing as the “Accept Allocation Option Time Over”. Even though, the last date for seat acceptance is shown as August 11 on the official schedule, the status for his allocation is showing as "Accept allocation time is over".

Another user has posted on reddit by sharing his grievance on his mid entry allocation. The user claims that his allocation was displayed on his dashboard when he last checked twice. But, his dashboard is showing as no seat allotted.

This is not the first time that the students faced issues like these due to technical glitches on the CSAS portal. The same issues were raised with the DU PG allocations as well. A reddit user has expressed his problem that his allocation is disappeared after showing as allotted in his dashboard earlier. Even though, his application status was shown as seat accepted, dashboard displays as no seat is allotted. He claims that despite reaching out to the officials by raising his concern through email, the DU admissions branch failed to resolve his issue.

Being one of the premier institutions in India, the uncertainties and technical difficulties of the CSAS portal has affected many parents and students. As, they need time to arrange accommodation and make travel arrangements to reach the university within the deadline of admission process. The technical difficulties, delay in the release of allocations have kept the students and parents in immense pressure.
Candidates who got allotted in the DU admission process are advised to complete all the required formalities such as seat acceptance, upgrade / freeze of their allocation, document verification, fee payment withing the deadline to avoid any difficulties. Students are also required to take screenshots of any activity related to allotment, seat acceptance, fee payment etc to submit to the officials during any technical difficulties.
