Out of 18 DU south campus colleges, only 3 colleges offer hostel accommodation for students in their campus. While, students from other colleges have to look for accommodation in private hostels, PGs, and apartments. According to Times of India, around 200 PG accommodations are located in the Satya Niketan area alone with tightly packed buildings and small rooms.
