DU Financial Support Scheme 2026

The financial scheme is not restricted towards any reserved category but is available for candidates coming from lower income families, regardless of their social category. There are two categories of annual family income limit for the DU Financial Support Scheme 2026 which is - Category I candidates must have the annual family income less than Rs 4 lakhs per annum. Meanwhile, the Category II candidate’s annual family income must range between Rs 4-8 lakhs. The candidates receive fee waiver from Rs 10 thousand to 15 thousand rupees through this scheme.

Who is NOT Eligible to apply for DU Financial Support Scheme 2026?

Candidates who are enrolled in the following programmes are not eligible to apply -

• BTech programmes (except those enrolled in Cluster Innovation Centre, Delhi)

• 5-year integrated Law programme,

• School of Open Learning (SoL) and

• NCWEB (NON-Collegiate Women's Education Board)

How to Apply for the DU Financial Support Scheme 2026?

• Candidates need to visit the DU website at www.du.ac.in

• They need to open the notification regarding DU Financial Support Scheme 2026.

• Once the link opens, the news regarding the scheme will appear.

• To register, candidates have to scan a QR code given on the page.

• A google form will open.

• Fill in all the required fields with correct information.

• Upload all required documents.

• Submit the form successfully.

DU Financial Support Scheme 2026: Documents Required

• Copy of EWS/OBC-NCL Certificate/Annual family income certificate for financial year (2025-26)

• Self-attested copy of Income Tax Returns for 2025-26 (if filed)

• Self-attested copy of PAN Card(s) of Father, Mother, Sisters (Unmarried) and Brother(s) (Unmarried and below 25 years of age)

• Self-attested copy of the Undertaking Form as per the format given on https.//dsw.du.ac.in/

• Bonafide Certificate duly signed by Head/Director of the Centre/Institute as per format given on the https.//dsw.du.ac.in/

• Marksheet of last examination (Self-attested)

• Last fee receipt (Self-attested)

• Copy of Bank Passbook showing student's name, Account Number and IFSC code/cancelled cheque. (Self-attested)
