DU Admission 2021 - How to calculate 'Best of Four' marks
The ‘Best of Four Calculation’ of Delhi University is a method which is brought into the picture to find a mechanism for providing admissions to the students in the merit based admission programmes. The DU best of four calculations can be confusing at times for the students as they might not be aware of the calculation process. The Delhi University best of four calculation will take into account the following four subjects
One language subject (Core/Elective/Functional)
One subject in which the admission is being sought after
Two academic/elective subjects
If a candidate wants to get admission in a particular BA Hons. programme, then the honours subject must be included in the three subjects that are chosen by the candidates for best of four calculation, else there will be a deduction of 2.5% marks from their total ‘Best of four’ aggregate marks. To provide assistance to the students of their possibility of getting a seat in the college on the basis of their best of four subjects marks, Careers360 has created a DU college predictor which is formed based on the last few year cut off trends.

The cut off data for admission to Engineering course in the Institutes of Uttar Pradesh through JEE Main is not available because from the year 2021 the admission is based on JEE Main score. In this year the first batch is going to get admitted in to the colleges in Uttar Pradesh through JEE Main. Earlier the admission was based on merit in UPSEE. SO it is difficult to predict the exact score. You need to score the cut off rank that is specified by the college and the depends on various factors like number of candidates appeared, difficulty level of examination and number of seats available, performance of the candidates in the exam, top score etc. You should aim to score 90 or above percentile in JEE Main to have decent chances of getting seat in any of the r preferred i nstitutes. For that you need to score minimum 130-150 marks in JEE Main.
we have JEE Main knockout package to help you with your preparation. You may take a look in to it and enroll https://learn.careers360.com/knockout-jee-main-april/?icn=jee-main-knockout_landing-page&ici=nav-header_engg
