DU BA Application Form 2019 - The University of Delhi had released the DU 2019 BA application form on May 30, 2019. The application form of DU BA 2019 was available in online mode only. Candidates interested to apply for the B.A programmes offered were made sure to submit the DU B.A application form before the last date of submission. While filling the DU BA 2019 application form candidates needed to enter the course preference from the list given in the drop down box of the programme selection section. The admission process was common for all the colleges of the University of Delhi expect St. Stephen’s College and Jesus and Mary College. Candidates were also advised to enter their categories correctly as the admissions for candidates applying under the Sports and ECA category was different compared to the others. Candidates were made sure to also note that they could apply for as many BA programmes as possible in a single application form of DU BA 2019. The University of Delhi had released the list of certain documents that needed to be uploaded whilst filling the DU BA application form 2019 and during the registration process. If the candidates failed to upload any of these documents then their DU BA 2019 application form was deemed as incomplete and that lead to the candidates losing their candidature from DU admission 2019 process, even at the latter stages. Some of the documents are given below.

The application process for DU 2019 Admission began with the online registration process. Candidates could check here the steps to register on the DU UG Online Admission Portal. Candidates were made sure to note that they needed to have a valid e-mail ID and Mobile Number before starting the registration process. In case the applicants did not have an e-mail ID they were advised to create one as all the communications will be made through the e-mail ID given during the registration process.
Click on the ‘New Applicant Signup’ tab on the Delhi University Admission Portal
Click on ‘New Registration’ link to create a new user account
Enter all the details in the fields marked with a (*) on the ‘Create New Account’ page
Enter your email ID and re-enter it again for confirmation
Select a security question from the drop-down box given and enter a Security Answer for the same.
Create a password with a minimum of eight characters
Re-enter the same for confirmation
Enter the ‘Captcha’ given after all the details are filled
Click on the ‘Register’ tab towards the end of the page after entering all the details in the Delhi University BA application form 2019.
A page carrying the login details of the candidates will be displayed. Click on the Click here to save this information for future reference to save the details in the form of a pdf titled ‘Registration Detail.pdf’
Candidates will receive a confirmation of the registration process on the email ID and registered mobile number given during the registration process.
Click on the ‘Continue to homepage’ tab to continue with the DU BA application form 2019.
After the registration process is complete click on the ‘Continue to homepage’ tab
Click on the ‘Registered candidates Sign in’
Enter the Username and Password created during the registration on the login page.
Enter the ‘Captcha’ and click on ‘Login’
The application form of DU BA 2019 is divided into different sections. Given here are the sectional details of the DU BA 2019 application form.
In this section of the Delhi university admission form the fields of Name, Email ID will be filled automatically.
Candidates need to enter the details in the following fields of DU BA application form 2019.
Date of Birth
Other Category/ Quota (Kashmiri Migrant (KM), Children/Widow of Armed Forces Personnel (CW), Person with disability (PWD) and the Ward Quota)
Aadhar Card Number
Click on the ‘Submit’ button after entering all the details in Delhi University BA application form 2019. A preview of the section will be shown.
In case candidates need to make any changes they can click on the ‘edit’ button towards the end. In case the candidates want to continue with the application process click on the Next button towards the end.
2. Bank Details
Candidates must enter their bank account details such as Account Number and IFSC code.
In case of a refund the money will be transferred to the account details given
3. Academic Details
In this section, candidates must enter the
Class 12 examination board
Roll number as in the Class 12 examination Admit Card
Year of Passing
Status of Results
Click on the submit button after entering all the details in DU BA application form 2019. A preview of these sections will be displayed. Candidates can check through all the details entered. In case of correction click on the edit button and make the necessary changes. If there are no corrections to be made candidates can move on to the next step by clicking on the ‘Next’ button.
4. Merit-Based Course Selection
Here candidates could select the programmes they wish to apply for. In case candidates wanted to check the eligibility of the programme they can click on ‘i’. The different programmes under B.A were mentioned in the dropdown box from which candidates could select as many programmes as needed.
If the candidate applying is a female they will be considered under the NCWEB category.
After selecting the number of programmes click on Submit to see the preview and click on Next in case there are no corrections to be made.
5. Sports and ECA
If a candidate was applying under the sports and ECA category they need to select ‘Yes’ under this section.
Sports candidates will choose the game/sport in which they have excelled and provide all the details and certificates asked for.
ECA candidates also needed to choose the event in which they have excelled.
Click on the submit button and click on ‘Next’ to move on to the next session
Here candidates were required to upload the scanned images of the following documents
Self Attested Class X certificate/ Mark Sheet containing Date of Birth.
Self-attested Class XII Marks Sheet (In case the Marks Sheet is not issued by the Board, the self-attested copy of the Marks Sheet downloaded from the respective Board’s website should be uploaded).
Self-attested copy of the valid OBC/SC/ST/PWD/KM/CW certificates if applicable
Self-attested copies of Sports/ECA certificates, if applicable.
Passport size photograph

It is mandatory that the candidates upload all the documents as the application fee cannot be paid without uploading the documents. After the documents are uploaded candidates will be able to see a complete preview of the DU 2019 BA application form. Candidates can check all the details they have entered and move on to the final step of application fee payment.

DU Admission 2019: How to calculate 'Best of Four' marks
In order to calculate the ‘Best of Four’ aggregate marks for DU 2019 admission, the candidates were made sure to have four subjects as follows:
1 language subject (can be core/elective/functional)
1 subject in which the admission is being sought after
2 academic/elective subjects
The three subjects that were chosen from List A (given above) should include the one in which admission is required. If there is/are no such subject/s then there will a deduction of 2.5% from the ‘best of four’ aggregate marks. For eg: If a candidate wants to get admission in BA (Hons) in History, then one subject should be History or else 2.5% will be deducted from their total ‘Best of four’ aggregate marks.
The candidates can also get to know which college they can get in by taking help of the du college predictor arts just by putting their 'Best of Four' aggregate marks. The predictor will predict the colleges on the based of the previous year's cut off trend.

The University of Delhi did not release separate DU application forms for the different undergraduate programmes offered by the university.
St. Stephen's College admission 2019 had been started on June 3, 2019.
