B.Com or Bachelor of Commerce is one of the widely popular courses in India. B.com is majorly prevalent for those who completed their higher secondary education in the commerce field. Candidates who want to pursue their career in banking, finance, commerce, accounting, or related fields can choose this course. This is an undergraduate course over the duration of 3 years. The course is usually spread over 6 semesters, two semesters in a year, during which students get an in-depth knowledge about financial accounting, e-commerce, tax, economics, company law, auditing etc. The whole course is based on commerce and finance. Under the umbrella of B.Com, there are three courses, such as B.Com, B.Com (Hons), B.Com LLB. These courses offer the regular mode and the distance mode of learning as well.

Candidates must have passed the higher secondary level of education or equivalent from a recognized board with a minimum of 50% aggregate.
There is no specific stream mandatory in 10+2 for this program, but students from commerce stream can get preference in the admission process.
