New Guidelines for DU UG Admission 2025, New Changes, Admission Process

The University of Delhi has announced several changes regarding the DU UG 2025 admission process in a press conference held on June 17. Aspirants of DU admission 2025 are required to go through these changes before applying for DU UG admission 2025. The Delhi University UG CSAS portal 2025 has been activated on June 17 at ugadmission.uod.ac.in.

Changes in Guidelines For DU UG Admission 2025

Students applying for admissions through DU CSAS portal can check the new changes in guidelines for DU UG 2025 admission process given below:

• Hike in DU UG 2025 Programme Fee - According to the University of Delhi officials, there will be a 6 to 7 percent hike in the programme fee for DU UG admissions 2025.

• DU Admission 2025 Cycle Reduced - The University of Delhi will reduce DU 2025 admission cycle into three rounds. As a result, classes will commence soon for the academic year 2025-26.

• Auto Acceptance of DU UG Seat Allotment 2025 - The university will provide an auto acceptance of the college option for candidates shortlisted in DU merit list. If any student applied for any upgrade as soon as they get allotted to another college, the CSAS portal will accept the application automatically and the students are required to pay more or there will be some difference in the amount which will be announced through the CSAS login portal or email alerts.

• Class X Marksheet necessary for Tie-Breaking Criteria - The University of Delhi has stated that in the case of more than one student securing same marks, the university will consider Class X marks into the tie-breaking criteria.

• Autochecks to Avoid Errors - The DU CSAS portal 2025 has been revamped into a more accessible and user-friendly interface allowing users to avoid the mistakes that happened in the past. The DU UG CSAS platform will now have an autocheck option where students can opt to prefill their relevant information instead of making mistakes while entering their details. In case of Class X/XII marks, the portal has implemented integer-based checks. The DU UG CSAS 2025 portal has also added checks on fields such as IFSC code, Pincode, etc.

• Mapping of Class 12 Subjects in CUET 2025 Subject Combination - Candidates are required to map their selected subjects according to the Class 12 subjects during CUET subject combination 2025. It will allow students to choose programme + subject combinations based on their Class 12 subjects.

• Phase 2 Round of DU CSAS Registration 2025 - The University of Delhi has started DU CSAS UG 2025 phase 1 registration on June 17 at admission.uod.ac.in. Students can register for DU CSAS phase 1 registration 2025 till the deadline. The DU phase 1 CSAS registration 2025 will be closed in one week after the declaration of CUET result 2025. The DU CSAS phase 2 registration 2025 will begin shortly after the result is announced.
