CCMN Seat Allotment CCMN Seat Allotment 2018 – NIT Rourkela will be conducting the seat allotment of CCMN 2018. During the CCMN 2018 seat allotment process, candidates will be able to finalise their seat for admission into various NITs or CFITs. CCMN 2018 seat allotment process will begin in the month of April, 2018. The result of Round 1 of CCMN seat allotment 2018 will be announced in the first week of June, 2018 whereas that for Round 2 seat allotment of CCMN 2018 will be done in the third week of June. The result of final or the National Spot Round of CCMN seat allotment 2018 will be declared in the first week of July. The CCMN Seat Allotment 2018 will be based on the choice filling of the candidates and their JAM Scores. CCMN 2018 Seat Allotment - Guidelines

  • Candidates must make a note of the guidelines given below before the seat allotment of CCMN 2018 begins.

  • The choices filled and Common Percentile (calculated from the JAM Rank) obtained by the candidate will determine the CCMN seat allotment 2018.

  • Inter se merit of candidates having same Common Percentile will be resolved with the help of the following criterion to be used in the stated order of preference.

  1. The candidate with higher JAM score are given preference.

  2. Candidate born earlier is given preference.

  3. In highly unlikely event of their birth date being same i.e. same score, same date of birth with same Common Percentile, then Random number is generated and the same is used to break the tie.

CCMN 2018 Seat Allotment - Details

To know the seat allotment of CCMN 2018 better, candidates may read the following points which elaborates the process.

  • CCMN Seat Allotment 2018 will be conducted in two rounds followed by a National Spot Round (NSR).

  • In the Round 1 of CCMN 2018 seat allotment, all seats will be available for allotment. In the Round 2 of CCMN seat allotment 2018 round, seats will be allotted against available vacancies left after filling in Round 1.

  • The choices submitted by the candidates will be processed and seats will be allotted in order of merit (as per rules of merit) on the basis of the locked choices.

  • Candidates must note that they would have to login below to check the seat allotment. Individual allotment letters will not be sent.

  • Candidates need to take a printout of the CCMN seat allotment 2018 details (Allotment History/Provisional Allotment letter/Provisional Admission Letter) after logging in.

  • Candidates who will be allotted seats have to “report online” by paying the ‘Part Institute fee’ as per the CCMN 2018 schedule.

First Round of CCMN Seat Allotment 2018 -

  • The CCMN 2018 Seat Allotment will be done as per the choices of the students and their JAM 2018 scores.

  • Candidates will be required to log in to check their allotments.

  • The applicants will first have to pay Rs. 7,000/- as part institute fee through Net banking/Credit Card/Debit Card or from a local bank (through NEFT) and then complete their online reporting by the specified dates.

  • Candidates failing to do so shall forfeit their allotments and will not be considered for the subsequent rounds.

  • The CCMN 2018 Seat Allotment will be confirmed only after the online verification of the original documents and the payment of part Institute fee.

  • The CCMN 2018 seat allotment to candidates who do not report within the stipulated period will be cancelled and these candidates will not be considered for seat allotment in subsequent rounds including NSR.

  • After the completion of Round 1 of CCMN seat allotment 2018, the seats thus falling vacant will be considered for allotment in the subsequent rounds.

 Second Round of CCMN 2018 Seat Allotment -

  • The second round of CCMN Seat Allotment 2018 will be made against the vacant seats available after the first round of seat allotment.

  • The following groups of candidates will be eligible for seat allotment against vacant seats in the second round:

GROUP-1: Online registered candidates who were not allotted seats in the first round of seat allotment.

GROUP-2: Candidates who were allotted seats in the first round of allotment and have completed online reporting.

 

CCMN 2018 Seat Allotment Second Round: Procedure

The choices submitted by the above candidates will be processed and the seat allotment will be made as per their choices and their JAM 2018 score.

 

GROUP-1 candidates who are allotted seats in this round will first have to pay Rs. 7,000/- as part institute fee through Net banking/Credit Card/Debit Card or from a local bank (through NEFT) and then complete the online reporting during by the due date.

The seat will be confirmed only after the payment of part Institute fee.

The students will be notified about their allotment status after the online verification process is over.

They will be able to download the CCMN 2018 Provisional Allotment Letter only after payment of the balance fee.

 

GROUP-2 candidates upgraded during the second round of CCMN 2018 seat allotment should complete their online reporting and pay the remaining Institute fee. They will be able to download their fresh allotment letter thereafter.

 

Important points related to CCMN Seat Allotment 2018

All candidates allotted seats in both the first and second rounds should wait for the final upgrade before NSR and the completion of Final Surrender process.

Applicants will be issued the CCMN 2018 Final Provisional Admission Letter to join the admitted institute after the Final Surrender process is completed,

Candidates will have to complete the admission process by paying the balance Institute fee through Net banking/Credit Card/Debit Card or from a local bank (through NEFT) by the due dates.

Upgraded candidates will also have to follow the same procedure for paying the balance Institute fee in order to complete the admission process.

 

CCMN 2018 Seat Allotment - Reporting to the Institute

Upon completion of the online reporting, paying the fees and downloading their Final Provisional Letter for CCMN 2018, candidates must directly proceed to the respective allotted Institutes with the original documents and the provisional admission letter to formally complete their admission and attend the classes as per the academic calendar of the Institute.

 

CCMN Seat Allotment 2018 - Withdrawal /Surrender of Seat

  • Candidates, who participated in the first and second rounds of CCMN 2018 but are not satisfied with their allotment and wish to remain under consideration for admission in NSR round, will have to surrender their allotted seats as per the given schedule.

  • To participate in the NSR of CCMN 2018, candidates must surrender their claim on the seat currently allotted to them.

  • The surrender of seat will be done online and be available during the specified period. Candidates must apply for the surrender and will receive an OTP to their registered mobile no. Using this OTP, candidates must log in and surrender their seats.

  • After surrendering their seat, candidates can participate in the National Spot Round (NSR) as a fresh candidate following all required procedures. To do so they will have to pay Institute fees for NSR afresh.

  • The old dues (paid earlier) will be refunded separately after deduction of Rs.1000/- as processing charges.

 National Spot Round (NSR): The procedure is the same as the other rounds for CCMN 2018 Seat Allotment.
