  • Applicants from a recognized board should have completed their 12th Class studies.

  • Applicants must have studied physics, chemistry, and biology at the qualifying stage of the test.

  • Applicants should have cleared their respective qualifying examinations at least with a minimum aggregate of 50%

  • Applicants who have studied mathematics at the qualifying level can also apply if they have also studied biology along with other subjects in the science stream.

The process for admission varies from institute to institute. Some colleges provide direct admission to BSc. Agriculture based on merit and personal interview, and some colleges conduct entrance examinations at national, state, or university level to admit the students concerned. 

  • Direct admission or Merit based admission: - Aspirants should apply for admission based on the qualifying examination scores obtained by the qualified candidates through the application form published by the college/university before the last date of admission. 

  • Entrance based admission: - Aspirants must apply for the entrance examinations administered by various reputed agricultural colleges/universities for B.Sc. agriculture admission. BSc. Agriculture is a four-year undergraduate course concentrating mainly on Agricultural Science studies and methods, dealing with fields such as genetics and plant breeding, agricultural microbiology, soil science, plant pathology, etc. It is a professional degree recognized in the Agricultural Science sector by the Government of India. In the real-world situation, this course aims to provide instruction to introduce new agricultural techniques and technologies.
