University of Calcutta 2022 Application Form - General Instructions
Before filling out the Calcutta University application form, candidates should carefully read the information in this Information Brochure. Application forms that are determined to be incomplete, even after the time limit for rectification or updating has passed, will be automatically rejected.
The detailed admission schedule (i.e., dates, time, location, etc.) for online application, updating of marks and correction of information, submission of a printed copy of the downloaded application form (if specifically required), dates of counselling (if any), date of publication of selection list, date of admission, and so on will be announced on the University Website from time to time.
Applicants must select the course(s) / college(s) to which they wish to apply in order of preference. The system will create the required number of Application Forms, Acknowledgement Slips, and e-Receipts automatically.
Carefully consider the order of preference (Course/College). A notice for correction, if any, may be given, but after the days for correction have passed, no changes or corrections to the Application Form can be made in any way. As a result, the following requirements must be met:
i) Number of course(s) to be applied.
ii) Order of preference of the course(s) to be opted.
iii) Order of preference of the college(s) to be selected.
All C.U. and non-C.U. candidates who took final year/final semester exams this year (2022) but whose results have not yet been released are eligible to apply for admission to P.G. courses for the academic year 2022-22.
Similarly, C.U. or Non-CU candidates who graduated in 2022 or later are eligible to apply for admission to P.G. programmes for the academic year 2022-23.
Both CU and non-CU applicants must meet the same eligibility criteria for each course.
Candidates applying under the reserved categories who have S.C./ S.T./ OBCA/ OBCB/ PWD certificates from a state other than West Bengal must obtain a domicile certificate from a competent authority under the West Bengal government (see Section-21 of the Information Brochure) rather than from their state of origin.
